The so-called black Africa in sub-Saharan Africa is the culture formed by various tribal societies living in forest areas and savanna, and it is also reflected in the music culture of various tribes. Although historically influenced by other regions such as Asia, and in some regions influenced by foreign music culture to varying degrees, many regions in black Africa, which are relatively isolated from the rest of the world, still have their unique traditional music culture. Compared with folk music in other parts of the world, the most remarkable feature is that it has both self-entertainment and social functions. There are rice milling songs, rice songs, lullabies, pastoral songs, boating songs, housework songs and so on. Different industry music, worship music, witchcraft music, wedding music, adult ceremony music, and social functions such as education, medical care, justice and moral judgment. It can be seen that music is closely related to social life and traditional customs. A person's life, from birth, adulthood, marriage to death, is completed through etiquette. Music is an indispensable part of etiquette. Therefore, every tribe member participates in some kind of music activity more or less, and the art of music has become a social activity that pays equal attention to artistry and sociality, politics and religion.
