1. The first day
Wandering on the island road, you'd better put on your bathing suit before dawn. On a whim, you can sing on the deserted beach. It's very cheap to eat at a hidden stall near the "sea footbridge" at noon. 1 bottle of beer+fried melon seeds+seafood noodles+white mud shrimp =RMB28. One person, of course. After dinner, sleep in the hammock there, or lie down and read a book to avoid the scorching afternoon sun. Look at the colorful clouds on the blue sea at dusk. Watch the sea rise and the bright moon at night (15 or so).
2. The next day
Go to the "First Pier" next to the ferry, where there are many small wooden boats for rent. It's not cost-effective to rent it alone. It is best to book a hotel for 5-6 people, 200 yuan /6 hours. You can live on any island you specify. On the way back, I will have dinner at Futing Restaurant, where I can see the beautiful Haicang Bridge. Frozen bamboo shoots+fried fish+steamed clams with eggs+batter+beer+fruit bowl (delivery) = about RMB 50-65 yuan. In the evening, you can listen to some blues music from The Story of a Small Town, and 25 yuan spends 25 yuan RMB.
Step 3: Day 3
Visit Gulangyu Island: 1. Lively: Stroll along the coast to Haoluna Park and watch peacocks. Don't go out the door. Go straight to the seaside through the back door. There is a small bridge near the cliff. When the tide is high, the water will not reach the skirt, so it is better to wear sandals. After a tour like this, you arrive at the old embassy district, and through the round hole door, you enter another quiet and desolate world. Occasionally I can see a couple of young people taking wedding photos. Go back to the island road, climb the steps under the banyan tree and enter Shuzhuang Garden through the back door. At this time, it was about noon, hiding in the piano museum. There is air conditioning, quiet and soft piano music. Sitting on the winding stairs, you can understand the sound of the wind blowing on the curtains if you don't understand it. Don't forget to read the guest book or leave a message before you go out. Mine is on it, too I left Shuzhuang Garden in the afternoon and went to the extremely noisy beach, which passed quickly. There are two choices: go to Qinyuan-Daylight Garden (RMB 60 yuan) or walk along the coast and make tea or order noodles at Gulang Villa (RMB 6- 10 yuan). According to your time, there is a direct ferry to Xiamen (per hour 10). 2. love cleanliness: just last night, don't go to the bar. At dusk, let the boat stop at the dock of Gulangyu Island, drill an alley, preferably in the rain, and listen to the faint or naive or ethereal piano music.
The most famous and popular snacks in Xiamen are: frozen bamboo shoots, braised pork jiaozi, spiced, taro buns, leek boxes, taro dates, octopus, fried onions, marinated beans, braised ducks, oyster porridge, batter, fried dates, tied feet, cakes, sugar onion cakes, pancakes, Satay Noodles, fish balls, fried oysters and sesame seeds.
Accommodation:
Accommodation can be arranged in the guest house of the Institute of Oceanography near Xiamen University, where you can watch the sea, walk along the coast or ride around the island. Or you can live in a naval sanatorium in Gulangyu. (35-80 yuan/Room) It's just behind the post by the sea. Very quiet. The waiter dresses up as a nurse, but don't be afraid.
Golden monkey hotel, quasi-3-star, newly renovated, with avant-garde rooms, no less than 4 stars, HBO on TV (but the subtitles are Arabic), located in Zhongshan Road Cultural Palace, it is very convenient to go to all scenic spots, except that the room is slightly smaller. In addition, Lujiang Hotel and Bailuzhou Hotel also look good.
Local transportation: Xiamen has very convenient transportation. All scenic spots have bus lines, and the road conditions are very good. There seems to be no traffic jam. No one sells tickets on the train (1 yuan). The taxi starts at 3km from 8 yuan, and if it exceeds 3km, it will be posted at 3 yuan /km.
I especially recommend no.27, from the airport to the ferry. This route is very long, from north to south through Ludao, sweeping the city, SM, Zhongshan Road and so on. There is also the airport shuttle bus from 5 yuan to the railway station.
Ferry, the ferry to Gulangyu is a one-way fare. There is no charge for going to Gulangyu Island. When I come back, I accept 3 yuan/person, just like the ferry in Shanghai in the past, but there are upper and lower floors, and the upper floor receives 1 yuan/person. Note that it is not the same as the ferry around the island. Round-the-island ferry 10/ person, and comrades in uniform have always guided them to travel around the island or on the island.
