Tonight, a ""Romantic Classical" Concert of Classical World Famous Music that You Must Hear in a Lifetime" was performed at the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra Concert Hall. The performers of the "Philharmonic Light Music Ensemble" brought classic works from various periods in the history of Western music. Although this is the first time I heard of this band, I have heard foreign bands perform classical music in a popular way before. They are the pioneers in this field in China. The first piece played by the seven performers of the orchestra was Beethoven's "Ode to Joy". The familiar melody sounded, but it gave people a refreshing feeling, relaxed rhythm, and pleasant music. The harmonies and new arrangements give the original music a different flavor. The dance rhythm added to the second song "Für Elise" has the charm of Piazzolla's tango, which is completely like a colorful cocktail. Then the arranger of Bizet's "Carmen Overture" took out the themes of the classic passages in the opera and redeveloped them, including passionate flamenco and melodious love songs.

Then the piano and violin presented two beautiful violin songs. One is "Schindler's List", the violin's sob-like lyrical melody is impressive, and there is also a technically difficult "Zardash Dance" where the performer combines singing music and dance music with distinctive rhythms. Mozart's "Turkish March", which everyone is very familiar with, has been adapted to be more interesting, as well as Shostakovich's "Second Waltz", Johann Pachelbel's "D Major" "Canon" allows us to hear a completely different style from the original.

The second half opens with the exotic "Blue Danube" and "Spanish Matador March". The next two songs are Chinese national classics "Yao Dance" and "Colorful Clouds Chasing the Moon", in Tchaikovsky's "Dance of the Four Little Swans" and "Swan Lake". We relived the beauty of ballet. The last piece was Brahms' "Hungarian Dance No. 5" with the melody of "Auld Lang Syne" added to the music. The encore was the passionate "Cancan" and the encore classic "Radetzky March" at the Vienna New Year's Concert.
