Sisters Are Crazy 1
Plot Summary
The female second-rate nightclub singer Dee Lauris (Whoopi Goldberg) was arrested for accidentally witnessing a murder. The gang leader was chasing her. In order to escape the killer's pursuit, she turned to the police for help. In order to protect her as a witness at the scene, the police arranged for her to hide in the safest place in the world - a nunnery.
The quiet and desolate life in the nunnery made DeLauris, who had always been active, unbearable, so she went out to sing and dance at night when no one was prepared. The dean (Maggie Smith) was worried that something would happen to her and sent her to the hospital. She was assigned to a choir, but she thought the choir was very bad, so she decided to reform it. So during the mass, the choir sang popular songs, but the lyrics were changed to praise God. Unexpectedly, this move was criticized by the church members. It was warmly welcomed and attracted a special trip from the Pope to appreciate it. How could the TV station let such interesting news go? But as soon as it was exposed on TV, DeLauris was also announced to run for her life again.
