1. Number activities integrated into the theme activities
Recently, my class is carrying out the theme activity "The Animal World is So Wonderful". In the process of getting to know some birds, the children began to develop an interest in various eggs. Curiosity and strong interest, at this time, we grasp the children's points of interest and use four kinds of bird eggs that the children are familiar with and like as the carrier of children's counting. This not only helps the children accumulate relevant number experience, but also further improves their ability to count. Enhance children's interest and understanding of various bird eggs.
2. Interesting games integrated into number activities
Number activities themselves are highly logical and conceptual, and children think concretely and figuratively. When designing the activities, I integrated the number activities into interesting and figurative game sessions. , allowing children to accumulate experience in a relaxed environment and enjoyable games through various forms of operations and plot-rich games.
3. The area of ??recent development of children’s counting experience in this class
Ordinal counting is no longer very challenging for the children in our class. Most children can count more accurately. However, in children’s lives, in games, I also found that when children count some objects arranged in a closed shape, they often count incorrectly or cannot count due to lack of methods. Children have accumulated a lot of experience in counting points, but they lack methods in counting, so they have difficulties when counting some objects in random order and closed order. Therefore, as long as they are given a little guidance in the method, they can make it count. The children have mastered it better.
4. Interactions in activities
In learning activities, experience sharing and exchanges between children are more acceptable to young children. In math activities, I mostly use group teaching methods. First, teachers can observe children's activities more comprehensively during the activities, and second, they give children greater room for choice and operation. In this grouping, I mainly randomly sampled them into groups. There are individual differences and ability differences among children. When designing the activities, I considered providing opportunities for children to interact and communicate with each other, so that children can explore and discover counting methods and interact with them. Peers fully communicate and share their experiences, allowing the children to teach the children, which in turn enables the children to get more different counting methods.
