"Lu's Spring and Autumn Annals" is an ancient encyclopedia-like masterpiece compiled by Qin Prime Minister Lu Buwei. It has eight readings, six treatises, twelve chapters, and more than 200,000 words.
"Lu's Spring and Autumn Annals" is the first collection of essays compiled in an organized and planned manner in Chinese history. The code of conduct uses Confucian ethics to position the value scale, absorbs the Mohist concept of justice, the speculative logic of famous scholars, and the legalist governance skills, plus the changes in military strategies and the pursuit of geographical advantages by farmers, to form a complete set of national governance doctrines.

Ideology of the work
The tone of "Lu's Spring and Autumn" is Taoism. From the overall thinking point of view, this judgment is appropriate, especially the naturalistic tendency of "Lu Shi Chun Qiu", which not only inherited Taoism, but also developed Taoism. However, "Lu Shi Chun Qiu" abandons the negative side of Taoism. It not only requires human beings to comply with nature, but also requires human beings to use their conscious initiative to create. And this kind of creation requires the use of natural laws to verify its rationality.
"Lu's Spring and Autumn Annals" inherited Lao and Zhuang's thoughts of inaction, advocating that consolidating political power lies in quietness and inaction. ("Zhidu"), only this kind of "inaction" and "emptiness and tranquility" can achieve the free state of doing nothing but doing everything.
"Lu Shi Chun Qiu" also expresses certain musical aesthetic ideas. It connects the production of music with all things in the universe, and proposes that "born from measurement, based on Taiyi" ("Tai Le"), it also discusses the psychological process of music production from the induction relationship between "heart" and "things". He put forward the concept of "fitness" and emphasized that the sound and heart should be "fitness" in order to obtain the feeling of beauty.
