The Department of Vocal and Singing is a master's degree authorization site approved by the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council. The Youth Choir of the Central Conservatory of Music was established in the 1950s. Some famous musicians and conductors at home and abroad have guided, rehearsed, and performed with the ensemble. my country’s famous conductors Yan Liangkun, Nie Zhongming, Zheng Xiaoying, Li Huade, and Yang Hongnian have successively served as permanent conductors of the choir. The Youth Chorus has participated in major domestic and foreign choral festivals, art festivals and other performance activities, and has recorded many classic chorus pieces for CCTV.
