A British expedition team entered Tibet. The explorers Jones and Rockman were drowned by an avalanche. Kelsang and Cher rescued them. At the critical moment when the British were about to execute the headmen, Kelsang's "Uduo" (an oxen rope bag used for herding sheep) once again played a miraculous role and rescued them from death. In gratitude for saving his life, Rockman gave Gesang a lighter.

Rockman left, and Jones stayed to recuperate. The beautiful grasslands and simple Tibetan people made Jones fall in love with the land of Tibet. Danzhu, the beautiful and willful leader's daughter, was attracted by Gesang's boldness and unrestrainedly pursued Gesang regardless of Cher's love for Gesang. Gesang rejected Danzhu's love and proposed to Xueer.

Tibet’s ancient civilization and mineral resources made the British Empire want to plunder it for themselves. The British Expeditionary Force headed by Rockman attacked Tibet. Thousands of Tibetan people, fearless of violence, fought bloody battles against the invading British troops to defend their homeland and territorial integrity. The leader led the remaining troops to retreat into the castle, and Danzhu was captured. In order to save his daughter, the leader fell. Danzhu sang an ancient love song and died together with the enemy.
