First of all, I would like to declare that Beihang Shahe Campus and Xueyuan Road Campus, that is, the headquarters, are both Beihang University, not a Sino-foreign joint venture university with high fees like Suzhou Campus of the National People's Congress, nor are they two universities in name only like Zhuhai Campus of Beijing Normal University. To put it simply, Xueyuan Road Campus can't accommodate so many people, so many students have moved to Shahe Campus.
It seems that the first batch of students in Shahe Campus was on 20 10. At that time, the school's plan was that Beihang students would be freshmen and sophomores in Shahe for two years (except for Chinese and French engineers, General Motors and International College worked in Xueyuan Road headquarters for four years) and then moved back to their headquarters to be juniors. Now the school's planning has been adjusted, that is, aerospace and science-related majors stay in Shahe, while Xueyuan Road is a major in social science, information science and art. Therefore, both campuses of our school are developing vigorously and injecting fresh vitality. Shahe Campus is now under construction, such as the National Laboratory Building. Xueyuan Road Campus is also vigorously developing New North District.
Therefore, there is no difference between Shahe Campus and Xueyuan Road Campus in terms of graduation certificate and college entrance examination. To say the gap, I think we can answer it from three aspects: professional direction and campus environment.
1. Professional direction
As mentioned above, the school's current plan is to focus on the development of social science, information science, art and other majors in Xueyuan Road Campus. Xueyuan Road Campus is located in the center of the universe, with many colleges and universities. Peking University, Tsinghua, National People's Congress, Beiying and Beili are all located in Zhongguancun, Xueyuan Road. Social science, information science and other majors need information exchange, so these majors can get better development in the bustling Xueyuan Road.
Shahe Campus is the base camp of aerospace related majors. Most aerospace majors involve scientific research and need a quiet teaching and research environment. Shahe, located in the North Fifth Ring Road, just provides a quiet environment.

2. Campus environment
As an old campus, Xueyuan Road witnessed the development of Beihang University. Before the completion of Shahe Campus, Xueyuan Road, as the only campus of Beihang University, was the focus of state and school investment and construction. Therefore, there are many and dense campus buildings on College Road. There are many famous buildings in Xueyuan Road Campus, such as the old main building aided by the Soviet Union and the new main building of the largest single teaching building in Asia. Nowadays, the school is vigorously building the new North District, which also shows that the school still attaches importance to the construction of the old campus.
Shahe, as a new campus, is still under construction. I believe that the environment of Shahe will be comparable to Xueyuan Road in the future. There are many landmark buildings in Shahe, such as the National Laboratory Building. In addition, Shahe Campus, as a new campus, has new teaching buildings, experimental buildings and dormitory buildings. The dormitory is for four people, and the dormitory conditions are very good ~ I also believe that Shahe campus will be better, Shahe campus.

3. Supporting facilities
Xueyuan Road Campus, as an old campus, has much better supporting facilities than Shahe, but Shahe is now being optimized. The gymnasium on Xueyuan Road Campus is very large, with indoor badminton hall and the concert hall of Morningstar Literature and Art Center ... At the same time, many teachers' offices are on Xueyuan Road. However, with the gradual implementation of the school planning scheme, the infrastructure of Shahe Campus is gradually improving (in fact, Shahe Campus is very good now, with a complete gymnasium, swimming pool, gym and concert hall, only one size smaller than Xueyuan Road). )
