Review of the domestic black technology transforming robot, with 22 movable joints in the body and programmable

Recently, Lesen Robot, a domestic company, has launched an intelligent transforming robot for the K12 crowd that combines programming learning and entertainment: Lesen Interstellar Agent (Education Edition) T9-x. Compared with other robot toys of the same price range or other types currently on the market, Lesen Interstellar Agent has certain advantages in terms of playability and cost-effectiveness, such as: 22 movable joints in the whole body, intelligent human and vehicle intelligence Transformation, 3 programming modes can independently DIY robot movements, etc., allowing children to be exposed to programming early during play, stimulate imagination and creativity, and build awareness of mechanical engineering, engineering technology, science and art, etc.

So, let me take you through the detailed experience evaluation of this robot. (Hereinafter referred to as: Interstellar Agent)

From the outer packaging of Interstellar Agent, we can roughly understand that the Lesen robot can transform into two states: "car" and "robot".

At the bottom of the front of the package, you can see that Lesen has positioned this robot as: programming education, family entertainment, and growth companionship.

After opening the package, in addition to a Lesen Interstellar Agent (Education Edition) T9-x, the official package also comes with a power adapter, data cable, instructions (warranty card) and other documents as standard.

The state of Interstellar Agent when it leaves the factory is a "car" state. The entire body is composed of more than 3,000 parts, and the process is relatively complicated. Among current similar products, it can be regarded as one with many parts. .

The three headlights on the top of the car can be regarded as equipment operating status indicators. For example, when the Interstellar Agent is turned on, it will stay on, and it will also light up when charging.

The tires of Interstellar are made of rubber material.

Open the "cockpit" door of the robot, and you can see that there is a voice microphone, switch button, charging port, and Micro USB data interface inside. As for why the microphone is designed, it is because Lesen Interstellar Agent is also a voice robot that can complete some operations through voice commands, such as: turning a car into a person, a person into a car, walking, retreating, and even shutting down by voice control.

Here is a moving picture to show you the process of interstellar agent changing from a car to a robot. From the animated pictures, it is not difficult to see that the entire transformation process of Interstellar Agent is very interesting and has a "Transformers" feeling! Of course, Interstellar Agent can also transform from a human into a car, but I won’t show you this animation process.

In addition, after transforming into a robot state, the interstellar agent's head and eyes also have lighting design, which has a sense of futuristic technology.

The details of the interstellar agent's hands were shot in real-life shots. The overall workmanship is exquisite and looks full of "mecha style".

Interstellar has 22 artificial joint designs, and these 22 joints are: 2 on the front of the car, 4 on the left and right hands, 5 on the left and right legs, and 1 on the left and right drive wheels. The design means it can perform more complex actions.

Based on this, the playability of Interstellar is completely better than some intelligent robots from other brands. For example, a robot I bought before can only move with the help of the left and right drives at the bottom. To put it mildly, A robot, to put it bluntly, is just a smart remote control car.

The picture above shows you the one-handed "launch" action of Interstellar Agent. In addition, when Interstellar Agent is running, such as when launching and transforming, there will be sound effects interaction.

The above picture demonstrates the action of "throwing a grenade". It is not difficult to see from the animation that the overall action is relatively complex. Basically, ordinary robots cannot be so "lively".

In addition, there are two ways to let the interstellar agent perform actions. The first is through voice control, for example: interstellar agent, fire. At this time, the robot will perform relevant actions, and the second method requires downloading from the official website. An APP called "Agent" (Note: Apple can download it from the App Store, and Android can download it from the App Store).

After the download and installation is completed, after connecting to T9-x via Bluetooth, click the "Action Stunts" function in the APP, and you can see all the action stunts preset by Interstellar. In addition, you can also see the remaining power of T9-x in the APP, as well as the sound level of the robot.

There are currently 14 complex stunts built into the mobile APP. Each action is very interesting, including fighting, dancing, etc. You only need to click on the corresponding action, and the interstellar agent will immediately move and perform. At the same time, you can import your own programmed actions into action stunts and let the interstellar agent perform. As for how to program, I will tell you slowly later.

The picture above demonstrates one of the more complicated stunts: push-ups, how about it? Doesn’t it look cool?

In addition, there is a Bluetooth remote control function in the APP. This function can control the interstellar agent to move, launch and other actions. If the interstellar agent is in the state of a space vehicle at this time, it will be a "remote control" Combat Car".

In human form, Interstellar Agent can perform a variety of acrobatic moves.

For example, the interstellar agent can be controlled through the APP to perform a "slow walk".

How about controlling the interstellar agent to perform "running" through the APP? Is it very stable? In fact, this is due to the excellent bipedal gait algorithm of Interstellar Agent. In addition, Interstellar Agent also has a number of invention patents, and the whole body is covered with black technology designs, such as: artificial joint drive, digital electric transmission technology, etc.

In addition, if there are obstacles on the ground that cause the robot to fall while the robot is running or walking slowly, you only need to turn on the "automatically stand up after falling" function in the APP. The interstellar agent has its own balance system. After the interstellar agent falls, he will stand up flexibly and automatically.

The picture above shows hand programming, which achieves the effect of programmed movements by manually turning the robot. The specific operation is as follows: while the robot is connected to the mobile phone or tablet APP via Bluetooth, directly move the joints of the robot with your hands to start creating movements. After completing an action, click on the mobile phone or tablet APP to read it, and then continue to create other continuity. until a complete set of actions is completed, click Execute to let the robot perform the newly created actions. If you are satisfied with the entire set of actions, you can save it directly.

The above animated picture is the "heart comparison" action I programmed through hand-twisting. The specific process is: first move the right hand, click on the read action, then move the left hand, click on the read action, and finally return the left and right hands of the robot to their original positions, click Read again, and finally click Save. How about it? Isn't it interesting? For children with creativity and imagination, they can program a set of actions while playing with the robot.

The next step is the most difficult 3D graphics programming. At this time, you need to download special software from the official website, and then connect the interstellar agent to the computer through a data cable. At this time, you can freely program the robot's movements.

However, because the 3D graphics programming model requires the use of a computer, I think it is more suitable for older children. This programming mode mainly uses 3D graphics to program in more detail so that interstellar agents can complete more difficult and interesting actions.

The operation process is also very simple. First, create a starting action in the programming area, and then create the action you want the robot to perform.

In the 3D graphics programming software, you can control all the joints of the interstellar agent at will to create various action instructions. In addition to creating actions, it also supports adding music.
