Arcade Race

There are 6 tracks to choose from at the beginning, each with a completely different environment. As you progress through Championship mode, more tracks can be selected in Arcade mode. (Please see the "Track" section below for details)
Time Attack (Shadow Race)
The game mode is set up for aestheticians who pursue the fastest speed and the shortest route. Sliding on the snow slopes, no one will bother you to find the best route and the shortest time. This mode can also help competitors train their skills to a perfect level and demonstrate their skills in speed competitions. The tracks available here are the same as the speed races.
Pipr (Half Pipe Race)
The goal of the half pipe race is to make as many and as complex technical jumps as possible before reaching the finish line.
Air (Aerial Figure Competition)
Air Figure Competition is the best opportunity for competitors to showcase their snowboarding skills in front of the general public. Scores are given after each jump is completed. Top 5 Race (Top 5 Ranking)
In Arcade/Shadow Race mode you can challenge the best results by using the Top Ranking. These high scores will be simulated on the screen by computer opponents (up to 5 can be selected). If the competitor succeeds in exceeding any of these scores, the competitor's score will be included in the top 5 rankings and they will be able to compete with their own best score in the future. The only purpose of this race mode is to become the master of the slopes. Here's how to play:
The Championship game mode consists of 3 clubs. Each club has 12 extreme skiers, and the competitor's goal is to rank in the top three. If successful, promotion to the next club will occur. Ranking in the club is determined by the total points gained after three speed races. The track of each speed race is different, and the environment of the track is also different. Competitors will start in order of their qualifying results at the starting point. Competitors can choose from 3 different ways to qualify or skip it altogether and start last in the speed race. For details, please see the "Track" section below
After three speed races, the top three will be promoted to a higher-level club. Those ranked 4 to 7 will stay in their current clubs, while those ranked 8 to 10 will be dropped to a lower club. Once you reach the lowest club, you will no longer be able to lower it. Every club uses a different track and a different environment. The higher the club level, the more options there are to choose from, more equipment to choose from, and the more different routes on the track. Competitors will also be able to play in arcade mode on tracks used by premium clubs. So becoming a slope master has many benefits. The exhibition event allows the club your choice to compete in the half pipe or in the aerials. To begin, competitors must choose to compete in halfpipe or aerials. Exhibition game mode includes 3 clubs. The competitor's goal is to become first in their chosen event. If successful, promotion to the next club will occur, with the ultimate goal being to become the champion of the third club. A competitor's ranking in the club is determined by the competitor's points. Please look carefully at the "Skill Score" section
The final total score is the sum of the scores from the three halfpipe or aerial competitions.
After selecting the halfpipe or aerials mode, competitors need to create a character and select the skis they wish to use for the competition.
If a competitor has previously saved a character, this character can be used to continue the competitor's exhibition challenge. Between rounds of a game, competitors will see a selection screen with the following options.
Pactice
Train for your next halfpipe or aerial show.
Move on to the next round of halfpipe or aerials.

Choose skis
Usually skis are divided into two categories based on foot bindings, free-action skis and free-gliding skis. This is also the setting in "Extreme Skiing".
Freestyle (free action)
Freestyle skateboards with light weight and good elasticity are mainly used to perform imaginable technical actions. Usually this kind of skateboard is relatively short, and sometimes the two ends are tilted up to make it easier to control the direction and perform movements. The tangential radius of a free-action skateboard is wider than that of a free-gliding skateboard, in order to make turning and sliding faster and better.
Freeride
Freeride skateboards are called all-round skis in extreme skiing. They can be used on pipes, parks or on soft snow. Use this skateboard. Freeride skateboards are longer and stiffer than freeride skateboards, which generally means that this skateboard isn't the first choice for gliding wildly around the park. The strength of a freeride skateboard is its high speed when sliding down steep cliffs.
There will be more different skis to choose from based on your ability and level in the championship. These skateboards have three main characteristics:
Sprrd (Speed)
Choose skateboards with high speed capabilities to increase your skating speed.
Turning
When you choose a skateboard with good turning ability, you can turn and slide faster and better.
Flexibility
The more flexible the ski, the easier it is to control. When you are ready to jump or already in the air, you can perform various tricks. There are 4 different types of aerial tricks:
Straight air (straight jump)
Flip (somersault)
Spin (rotation)
p>
Somersault and spin combination
Straight air (straight jump)
A jump that only makes various grabbing movements in the air without any somersaults and spins is both straight air and straight air. Jump.
Flip
A jump that only rotates in the vertical direction. You can also do various board grabbing movements while doing somersaults.
Spin
A jumping technique that rotates in a horizontal direction, and can also perform various board grabbing movements while rotating.
Now you can learn more about these techniques and different grabbing movements through the following introduction:
A combination of flips and spins
A The technique of turning vertically and horizontally simultaneously.
Prepare
Hold down the Ctrl key (or the corresponding key on your gamepad) for maximum jumping power.
Hold down the Ctrl key and press other direction keys to get the rotation force in the corresponding direction. When you release the Ctrl key, you will jump, and the arrow keys can also be released.

At this time, you can press the corresponding grabbing key combination to grab the board in the air.
Landing
Hold down the Ctrl key in the air to end various actions such as grabbing the board or rotating. Use the direction keys to adjust the character's position in the air. Notice! If the Ctrl key is not pressed, the character will automatically end the rotation or grab the board before landing.
Rotation control
Rotation is a technique in which a character rotates along the X-axis or Y-axis or XY-axis in the air at the same time. At the same time, it can also perform board grabbing actions in the air.
Skill Scoring
When you compete in spectator competitions such as halfpipe or aerials, your performance will be judged and given points, and the final score is up to you Every different skill move performed successfully.
Practical Scoring Criteria
Skiing in the halfpipe or aerials relies on a practical theory of skiing. The most critical part of this theory is that skiers need to choose the best route that allows the skier to jump to the highest point. Because if you want to do some very difficult skills, you need to jump as high as possible, but it also means taking greater risks. Snowboarding uses a scoring system similar to this principle, which means there is a balance between doing tricks and jumping angles.
Scoring criteria in the half-pipe competition
The scoring in the half-pipe competition is divided into 4 items, and the score range for each item is from 0 to 10. These four items are technical merit (skill points), non-rotation (non-rotation part score), rotation (rotation score) and amplitude (jump height score). To score high in the halfpipe, the non-rotating portion and the rotating portion are important because all tricks of varying difficulty are broken down into these two.
Definition of these 4 scores
Non-rotation (non-rotation score)
An action item, including all three categories of rotation at any angle No movement exceeding 180 degrees.
Rotation (rotation score)
An action item, including all three categories of skills that rotate no more than 180 degrees at any angle.
Amplitude (jump height score)
The overall performance of all jumps.
Technical merit (skill points)
Overall performance and route selection.
The scoring criteria for the aerial figure competition
The scoring for the aerial figure competition is divided into two categories, amplitude (jump height score) and technical merit (skill score). They are defined in the same way as the halfpipe scoring system.
