Various ways to operate sounds in PPT

1 Play the sound in a loop until the end of the slideshow

This operation is suitable for picture appreciation, etc., and does not require the teacher’s guidance In explanations, pictures often appear along with sounds. Sound operation steps (if *** there are 5 slides):

(1) In the first slide where the sound is to appear, click the main menu "Insert/Sound in Video/File" "Sound in the sound (or sound in the clip library, etc.)", select a sound file, select "Yes" in the pop-up dialog box "Do you need to automatically play the sound during the slide show", and display a speaker icon on the slide.

(2) Right-click the speaker icon, select the "Multimedia Settings" item in "Custom Animation", select "Play in animation order", "Continue Slide Show" during playback, and stop playback at "5 slides later".

(3) Click "Other Options" and select "Loop until stopped".

Whether the above operation is performed with or without a link, the sound will stop playing as long as 5 slides are clicked (not the 5th slide).

4 Several sounds are waiting to be played on the same slide

If the student answers correctly, the music that indicates the answer is correct will be played, and if the answer is incorrect, the music that indicates the answer is incorrect will be played. Another example is to ask students to identify the sounds of 5 musical instruments, place 5 types of music on the same slide, and randomly select one to play, which can be repeated. Steps to implement sound:

(1) In this slide, click the main menu "Insert/Sound in Movie/Sound in File (or Sound in Clip Library, etc.)", Select a sound, and select "No" in the pop-up dialog box "Do you want to automatically play the sound during the slide show?" to display a speaker icon on the slide.

(2) Repeat step (1) to insert the remaining sounds.

5 Play the specified part of the sound

(1) Select the menu "Insert/Object", select "New", select "Media Clip" in the object type, and enter the media editing window after confirmation.

(2) Click the menu "Insert Clip", there are 3 sound types to choose from in its submenu: CD audio, MIDI sequencer, sound (WAV), according to the sound file type Select the appropriate menu.

(3) After selecting the sound file, the sound controller under the main menu is available. Move the pointer to the starting point of the sound you want to intercept, click "Start Selection" on the controller, and then move the pointer Go to the end of the sound and click End Selection on your controller. When finished, click anywhere other than the sound icon to return to slide editing.

(4) Click "Slide Show", and when you click the sound icon, the required sound will be played.

6 Dubbing the slides

This operation is suitable for situations where you need to repeat the explanation for each slide, and the explanation is recorded by yourself. For example, in the computer application ability assessment, students are not familiar with the assessment system and need to explain the examination system. This function will make it much easier. Recording operation steps:

(1) Select the main menu "Slide Show/Record Narration".

(2) Select the "Link Narration" option in the "Record Narration" dialog box, click "Browse" to select the folder where the narration file is placed, and click [OK].

(3) Enter the slide show state and read the narration into the microphone while playing the slide show.

(4) After the playback is completed, a dialog box will pop up "The narration has been saved to each slide. Do you want to also save the rehearsal time of the slide?", click [Save].

After the recording is completed, the speaker icon will be automatically displayed in the lower right corner of each slide. If you choose to show according to the rehearsal time during playback, it will play automatically.
