Wuhan Conservatory of Music is the only independent music school in Central China. The school is located in Wuchang, an ancient city with a long history and profound cultural heritage. Deduction College is located at No.255 Jiefang Road, Wuchang District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province.
The School of Performing Arts of Wuhan Conservatory of Music was established in 2003. As a dynamic new college department, it aims at cultivating new compound music talents to meet the market demand, adheres to the scientific construction characteristics of "paying equal attention to learning and application, combining teaching with practice" and adheres to the principle of paying attention to practice and strengthening application. While paying attention to the steady development of traditional music, we should actively explore the direction of popular disciplines and improve the educational model of cultivating high-quality music performance and applied talents.
The Academy for Performing Arts has five major directions: singing and choreography of popular vocal music, performance and choreography of keyboard instruments, performance and choreography of popular instruments, music editing and production, and piano tuning, with more than 0,000 students/kloc-0. Among them, the performance and direction of keyboard instruments are piano, accordion and electronic organ. The performance and direction of popular musical instruments are saxophone, classical guitar and jazz drum.
