Text/Wandering A Zi

There is a rainbow road in front of Hargreaves Cathedral, a famous landmark in Reykjavik, Iceland, which is very eye-catching and distinctive. I think it is because there are too many rainbows in Iceland that the design of such a road is unique. Later, I learned that this road is not called Rainbow Road, and there are not always rainbows on this road. The rainbow road will be in different cities at different times, which has its significance.

I quite like this rainbow road, no matter what it means, I just think it is really beautiful. Reykjavik is a very walkable city with flat terrain, concentrated shops, good air and no crowded people, so it is very comfortable to walk. This road connects Hagram Cathedral. When we came out of the church, we didn't talk well, nor did we look at the map. We all went this way tacitly.

Here, you can see many tourists taking pictures everywhere at any time. I believe the local people are used to it. Many tourists here bring professional cameras, but there are fewer people like us who take pictures with silly cameras and mobile phones. Vehicles and bicycles are forbidden in the pedestrian street, and the people here are also very nice. No one entered illegally, and pedestrians can rest assured to go this way.

I wonder if it has anything to do with Rainbow Road. There were a series of paintings on the roadside when we went, which should be an art exhibition. I didn't watch it carefully, but I felt the atmosphere was very good and I liked it very much. Large paintings stand on the street, and the whole street is an exhibition hall. Every painting on display is a huge painting. I'm just a little worried. The weather here is changeable. If it rains, I wonder if it will damage the painting.

Going forward, you can see that there are many large decorations in front of the shops in the shopping street. Many shops are decorated with people or animals, which is particularly eye-catching. I like these portraits very much. They are so special and lifelike that they feel like characters coming out of Nordic mythology. Very tall dolls are very eye-catching in the street, about 1.5 times that of adults, and their shapes are very distinctive.

Walking along the seaside trail, Harper's concert? The cool appearance will catch your eye for a second. This is a building that you can't miss. It's so special that it looks good day and night. You can go in and watch music, there is a small space open, and there is a souvenir shop. There are as few people here as in other parts of Iceland, so you can stroll comfortably.

Sun Voyager is arguably the most classic sculpture in Iceland. It is located on the coastal trail, in front of Lake Tjornin. This place looks at the sea, the sunset and the snowy mountains. Everything is beautiful. This sculpture is a must-see for almost every tourist. I don't know why, this sculpture reminds me of Xiao Wei, a little hero of Beihai, and their sailing stories. I feel that there are many stories unfolding by this lake.

Walking around the city, it is inevitable to go to famous scenic spots, but what scenic spots can compare with the charm of shopping? When you go to Reykjavik, you must see Lauga Fogul Street. There are a little more tourists in this street, but not as crowded as many people. There are various shops, several small supermarkets, gift shops, souvenir shops and bookstores in this street.

Most visitors to Iceland will not miss the capital, because it is the only international airport in Iceland. In fact, we don't have much interest in other countries' capitals, and most of them are just lively. According to our travel experience in several countries, other cities are more worth spending time than the capital, so we ranked the capital in the last two days. But the capital of Iceland makes me feel that we have too little time left for the capital. Very suitable for walking slowly. It is very suitable for finding a small restaurant to eat seafood and drink beer. Perfect for wandering around in a daze. Very suitable for life. I like this place very much. There are tourists everywhere, but local people can still feel their happiness when they live in it.
