Birch Forest is a folk song of the former Soviet Union, which originated in Ukraine and belonged to the Soviet Union during the Great Patriotic War. It was inspired by the story of a Soviet soldier during World War II.

The song "березы" by Russian Bai Liu Band has also been translated into "Birch Forest", with a soft and slightly sad tune.

Bai Hualin was written and composed by Pu Shu, with singers Ye Bei and Pu Shu singing separately. 1999, Wheat Field Music released three concept albums, namely "The Age of Innocence" by Ye Bei in blue and "I Go to 2000" by Pu Shu in white.
