Mnet Asian Music Festival Awards Ceremony (Mnet KM Music Festival)
The music channel Mnet, represented by MKMF (Mnet KM Music Festival), changed its name to MAMA (Mnet Asian Music) in 2009 Awards/MAMA)
The Mnet Asian Music Awards, formerly known as MKMF (Mnet KM Music Video Awards), was founded in 1999 and is known as the most authoritative music award in South Korea. As early as 2008, the conference had jointly broadcast the program from South Korea to China and Japan, actively preparing to develop MAMA into a global event. In 2009, live broadcasts also covered 10 major Asian countries and regions, including Japan, China, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Philippines, Macau, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore. In 2010, the conference became more ambitious and expected to unite the power of Asian music, marking the official birth of Asia's most prestigious music event, which is far more than the Grammy Awards.
