Basic principle of system desensitization method
Basic principle of system desensitization method;

1. System desensitization is mainly based on classical conditioned reflex and operational conditioned reflex, and its therapeutic principle is to resist conditioned reflex. The basic principle of systematic desensitization is mutual inhibition, which is often used to treat anxiety symptoms such as phobia. It adopts the method of layered relaxation, and encourages patients to approach what they are afraid of gradually until their fear of stimulus is eliminated, that is, when the stimulus that causes anxiety appears, patients can make an anxiety inhibition reaction, which can be weakened until the conditional connection between stimulus and anxiety is finally cut off.

2. Phobia is emotional tension caused by external stimuli, which forms a conditioned reflex with tension, so patients will feel anxious when they think that it can only stimulate the situation. Therefore, Volpa believes that the positive way to eliminate anxiety is to remove the terrorist object and eliminate anxiety: when the stimulus that causes anxiety exists, it will cause a reaction inconsistent with anxiety, which can cause partial or total inhibition of anxiety, thus weakening the connection between stimulus and anxiety. It is to use relaxation to encourage patients to gradually approach what they are afraid of until they eliminate their fear of stimulation. ?

System desensitization

1. Enter the relaxation state: firstly, choose a quiet and suitable environment with soft light and moderate temperature, then let the patient sit in a comfortable seat and start muscle relaxation training with the ups and downs of music. Training starts from arms, head, face, neck, shoulders, back, chest, abdomen and lower limbs in turn. In this process, patients are required to learn to experience the difference between muscle tension and muscle relaxation. After repeated long-term training, patients can skillfully use it in daily life and relax at will.

2. Imaginary desensitization training: First, let patients imagine a certain degree of stimulation or events. If the patient can clearly imagine, stop imagining when nervous, relax, and then repeat the above process until the patient no longer feels anxious or afraid of imagination, then this level of desensitization is completed. And so on to do the next level desensitization training. Imagine training no more than level 4 at a time. If there is a certain level of strong emotion in training, you should be demoted and retrained until you can adapt. When you have passed all levels, you can switch from simulated situation to real situation and continue desensitization training. ?

3. Realistic training: This is the most critical place for treatment. Or from the lowest level to the highest level, gradually relax desensitization to avoid causing strong emotional reactions. Assign homework to patients, and ask patients to strengthen their own training at the same level after treatment guidance every week, twice a week for 30 minutes each time.
