The 2022 Hubei Music Unified Examination written test is more difficult than in previous years. Students must answer more questions and practice more.
Music arts examinations require a reserve of childlike skills. More than 90% of students at the Central Conservatory of Music have learned at least one musical instrument since childhood. Especially for students who are preparing to take the performance major exam, basic knowledge of musical instruments is essential.
Students who want to choose other majors (such as composition, conducting, musicology, art management, etc.), in addition to musical instrument training, also need knowledge reserves in this major. Majors in composition, electronic music composition, and conducting require the most difficult sight-singing and ear training, which is natural, harmonic, melodic major, minor, or ethnic modes within three sharps and flats.
