"Selling Groceries" by Chen Peixun "Two Flying Butterflies" Theme Variations "Autumn Moon over a Flat Lake"

Introduction: Guangdong music is a local music with rich artistic characteristics in traditional Chinese music. Chen Peixun, as a A composer with profound Guangdong musical literacy, his adaptation of five Cantonese music piano pieces has become a widely circulated classic. Among them, the representative "Variations on a Theme of Two Flying Butterflies" has great influence on the form structure and music of the work. It is quite unique in terms of style and performance characteristics, which shows that it is one of Chen Peixun's piano adaptations.

"Autumn Moon over Pinghu" was originally a national instrumental piece with strong Guangdong music characteristics. According to legend, it was written by Lu Wencheng in Created after visiting the scenic spot "Pinghu Autumn Moon" in West Lake. The music depicts the color of the lake under the moon, with an indifferent, distant and ethereal artistic conception, and has become a masterpiece in Guangdong music. Later, it was adapted into a piano piece by Chen Peixun, which took full advantage of the piano timbre and presented the sparkling and flickering scenes in a more detailed way. In the 1950s, Chen Peixun wrote four piano pieces with the theme of Guangdong folk music: "Selling Grocery", "Song of Spring", "Thunder in Dry Sky" and "Variations on the Theme of "Two Flying Butterflies"". This set of piano music is full of Cantonese music taste, optimistic and humorous, with the sharpness of the Cantonese people, and also has the contrast of beautiful and singing passages. It is a national style known for its local colors, and the composer skillfully found the corresponding harmony and piano texture.

The theme of "Selling Grocery", Allegro

2 Wang Lisan's "Blue Flower", "Sonata" and "Dongshan Kui Yi Painting" (highly difficult ^_^.... ..)

"Orchid Flower" adapted by Wang Lisan in 1953 is a well-received piano piece. "Orchid Flower" is originally a folk song in northern Shaanxi, telling the story of a rural girl resisting feudal oppression. The piano music takes folk songs as its theme, which not only shows the beauty of orchids, but also contains emotions such as panic, grief, resistance, etc. Within a relatively short structure, a narrative, dramatic and tragic contrast is formed. The theme tone of the music is very familiar to us; Largo:

This theme immediately takes us to the northern Shaanxi Plateau, So far away and so charming, you will also think that orchids are so simple and beautiful. The story begins here. The music unfolds using variations, telling an exciting story through changes in texture, power of harmony, and promotion of rhythm. The ending is deep and distant, as if to suggest that this is a story from the past.

Wang Lisan also wrote a "Sonata" in 1957, which consists of three titled movements: "Under the Sun", "After the New Rain" and "Dance of the Mountain People". The whole work is extremely fresh, full of vitality and has a strong modern flavor. This is the earliest successful Chinese Sonata.

These two works have shown Wang Li's distinctive and adventurous creative style.

The suite "Dongshan Kuiyi Painting" was written in 1979 and officially released in 1982. This is a four-movement suite composed by the composer after watching an exhibition of Japanese contemporary painter Higashiyama Kaii's paintings. He was impressed by the painter's noble and solemn style and selected four paintings: "Winter Flowers", "Autumn Clothes of the Forest", "Lake" and "The Sound of Waves".

Exotic scenery requires exotic tones. This Japanese-style tone can be heard throughout the suite:

■In "Winter Flowers", the above tone is resolved into two, three, or three or four superimposed tones of the same tone. Or lines of different tones, the colors of music are crystal clear and bright, as if they are dancing with the power of life in the cold weather. In "Forest Autumn Clothes", the intermittent melody of the treble, the bass's response to it, and the harmonic "spots" in the middle all originate from the same tone. "Lake", transparent, deep and quiet:

■"Sound of Waves", this is the most exciting chapter. The original painting by Higashiyama Kaiyi is just a seascape, but the piano music gives it more associations, expressing the legendary event surrounding the ancient Chinese authenticity master's multiple trips east to Japan and his final success, and the touching emotions caused by it. Imagination, strong emotions and philosophical thoughts.
