The background music of Dawn of the Hero, also known as The History of the Three Kingdoms-Heroes at Night, is the work of Yokoyama Seiji, a famous Japanese musician.

China folk musical instruments include erhu, guzheng and pipa. In order to produce exquisite music, the Japanese side specially invited mainland performers to Japan to participate in the whole recording, including all the styles of the film, and respected the Chinese style. The main melody of the music has always been played by erhu, from the episode of the theme song to the main paragraph of the music.
