I also try my best not to repeat the words: expressing my feelings, a plum blossom, charming eyes, picking mulberry seeds, visiting Kinmen, Yu Jie Xing, Yinan Cao... just like a string of pearls dropped on a jade plate. The music part is what our R&D team dare not neglect. After all, the music of a generation has made everyone recall it for many years. To describe it as "three days around" seems not enough. Woolen cloth! This time the music of the third generation was completed by Muse Music Studio and Daewoo’s in-house music production staff. Although it was outsourced to a production team in Taiwan Province, our team was fully prepared internally. First of all, 3D sound effect technology is applied. Depending on the position and distance of the object that emits the sound effect, it will sound different in volume and direction, so that it will not conflict at all with the background music that fills the entire scene. The sound effects produced in-house are also refined so that they can better match the beautiful music.
Music planning and setting is the most troublesome job for me, because I am almost tone-deaf. Not only do I lack music knowledge, but I also have almost no memory of melodies. Fortunately, my supervisor, Director Zhang Yijun, is very good at music and has a background in planning, so he handles a lot of work in this area.
Director Zhang Yijun mainly helped me find reference music with suitable melody or orchestration based on my text setting and art scene style, and provided it to the music production group for reference. After all, compared to beautiful music, words seem pale and poor, and reference music is the communication bridge between us, and it is the most intuitive and vivid! However, this work process is very difficult and boring. It requires selection from a large amount of information. When it is difficult to choose, everyone needs to participate in discussions or votes.
As for the music production personnel, there are 4 in a day. They each have their own specialties and are all senior musicians with rich production experience. First of all, I would like to introduce you to Mr. Zhou Zhihua, the godfather of Taiwan's MIDI industry. He is a professional soundtrack master. His works cover advertising, drama, games, animation soundtracks and live performances, pop music record composition, arrangement, etc. His only soundtrack works for TV series There are more than 60 of them, and some of the soundtracks in Japanese TV programs and documentaries are also composed by Master Zhou. Among them, the soundtrack of Japan's NHK "Southwest Silk Road" was included in the SONY record "Image" soundtrack collection, creating more than 160 hits in Japan. Sales of 10,000 pieces were great.
