Chang's ancestral home is Tianjin. Tenor, vocal educator, professor of vocal music department of Shanghai Conservatory of Music, tutor of master students. I like music since I was a child. I studied vocal music with teacher Zhou Qikun in middle school. 1953 won the first prize of Nanjing middle school students' singing competition, 1954 was admitted to Shanghai Conservatory of Music. He studied under Professor Ge Chaozhi and Liu Jiaoshou. 1960 graduated from the vocal music department of Shanghai Conservatory of Music and stayed as a teacher. In the same year, he supported the frontier to enter Tibet and worked in Tibet Song and Dance Troupe for 20 years. He once worked as a soloist and vocal music teacher in Xizang Autonomous Region Song and Dance Troupe, and served as deputy head of the Song and Dance Troupe, deputy director of the Cultural Bureau of the autonomous region, and deputy to the Third National People's Congress of the autonomous region and the National People's Congress. He has made outstanding achievements in singing Tibetan folk songs and won the 1 prize in the Tibetan folk song singing competition.
