Plot summary
The world-famous conductor Pierre Mohunc returned to his hometown in France to attend his mother's funeral. His old friend Pepino gave him an old diary. , looking at this diary left by Clement Mathieu, his first music teacher, Pierre slowly savored the teacher's state of mind at that time, and scenes of childhood memories also emerged from the deep pool of his own memory.
Clement is a talented musician, but in the French countryside in 1949, he had no chance to develop his talent. He eventually became an assistant teacher at a boys' boarding school called "The Pond" "Bottom Correctional Institution".
This school is nicknamed "Bottom of the Pond" because most of the students here are naughty children. After arriving, Clement discovered that the school principal used brutal and high-pressure methods to manage this group of troubled teenagers. Corporal punishment was common here. Clement, who had a calm personality, tried to improve the situation in his own way.
In his spare time, he would compose some choral songs, but to his surprise, there were no music classes in this boarding school. He decided to use music to open the closed hearts of the students.
Matthew began to teach the students how to sing, but things did not go well. One of the biggest troublemakers was Pierre Mooncque. Pierre had the face and singing voice of an angel but had Clement, who has a troublesome and naughty character and is very seductive, discovered Pierre's musical talent.
At the same time, he also developed a subtle relationship with Pierre's mother, but it was wishful thinking. In the end, he was fired by the principal because of the fire incident, and he took Pepino away before leaving.
Through this movie, I realized the power of music. Music not only makes us feel good emotions, it also helps us express our thoughts and emotions. Just like Bach did, music can change people's destiny and give us more opportunities to realize our dreams.
In short, "Spring of the Cowherd Class" is a movie full of warmth and touching. It tells us that everyone has his own unique talents and shining points. As long as we face our own problems bravely and keep working hard, we will be able to realize our dreams.
