Gaoligong Mountain serves as a strategic barrier for my country's southwest border defense and still retains various war relics. Tengchong was the main battlefield of the Anti-Japanese War in Western Yunnan. The bunkers and trenches left by Nanzhai Gongfang (3,250 meters above sea level) on Gaoligong Mountain were the highest-altitude war relics during World War II and were also known as the "War in the Clouds." We hope, through music, to pay tribute to the soldiers of the expeditionary force and the people at the foot of Gaoligong Mountain who sacrificed their lives for the safety of the motherland during the Anti-Japanese War in Yunnan and Burma.
