Since 2006, the orchestra has taken the lead in launching the "Elegant Art into Campus" activity. This activity has received strong support from the Provincial Spiritual Civilization Office, the Provincial Department of Education, and the Provincial Department of Culture, and has achieved good results. social response (no less than ten events per year). In 2009 and 2010, the orchestra collaborated with the Central Opera House to perform the "Elegant Arts on Campus" event, which achieved excellent artistic results. Because the orchestra has performed a large number of public welfare performances over the years (it has also held elegant art in military camps, communities, companies, and provincial women's prisons, etc.), it was awarded "Advanced Spiritual Civilization Construction" by the Jilin Provincial Party Working Committee. In 2009, our group won the "Special Contribution Award" in the "Celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China" event jointly organized by the Jilin Provincial Party Committee, Provincial Government, Provincial People's Congress, Provincial Political Consultative Conference, and Provincial Working Committee.

On February 23, 2012, the orchestra successfully held the "Chinese National Music Classic Symphonic Cantata "Confucius" and the National Treasure Music Ceremony Chinese Music and Painting "Along the River During the Qingming Festival" reporting performance at the Beijing Concert Hall.
