Song:

Champions League theme song "Champions League"

Description:

The UEFA Champions League theme song "Champions League" was written by British composer Tony Britton entrusted by UEFA. UEFA asked him to write a theme song with religious ode flavor for UEFA Champions League in the style of Baroque musician Handel. Tony Britten wrote the title "Champions League" by imitating the melody of Handel's famous ode "Zadok the priest". This song is played by Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in England and sung by the choir of St Martin's College. The lyrics are very simple, and they are compiled by repeatedly shouting "They are champions" and "They are the best team" in the three official languages of UEFA (see below for the specific lyrics). Because UEFA did not sell this song on the market as a CD, there are few versions circulating on the Internet.
