Brothers is a short story written for Zhang Chu. One day, Lao Hou and Zhang Chu took a taxi together, and Zhang Chu got off halfway to get something. The driver asked Lao Hou: Who is Zhang Chu? Lao Hou simply said that the driver was quite moved. When he finally got off the bus, he patted Zhang Chu hard and said, "Brothers, have fun and don't worry", which constituted the theme of Brothers. In my opinion, brothers are good partners for my sister. The abundant momentum and sincere feelings in this song are by no means comparable to the petty bourgeoisie sentiment of a large number of songs at present.

However, the fate of the biography of brothers is not good.

This seems to be the fate of Lao Hou. When I first started writing, I couldn't adapt to the general trend of "Northwest Wind". In addition, during the period of 1989- 1993, there was almost no market for China's original works in the tide of Hong Kong and Taiwan, and Lao Hou's album "I Love You China" was produced under the condition of lack of funds, and the distribution was not good.

However, Hou Muren himself may be partly responsible. Beneath his witty and lively appearance, he is a very stubborn character, and he is not good at public relations operation. This unconventional character makes him look weak in the market battle.

But who knows? If you do as the Romans do, maybe this is not Hou Muren. Maybe his chance is not now. However, if he can sit still, concentrate on studying music and stick to his ideals, fate will always give him a chance.
