Hua Chenyu, born on February 7, 1990 in Shiyan City, Hubei Province, is a male pop singer and musician in Mainland China. He graduated from Wuhan Conservatory of Music. In 2013, he participated in Hunan Satellite TV's "Happy Boys" and won the annual championship. In January 2014, she made her debut on the CCTV Spring Festival Gala; in April of the same year, she participated in the outdoor reality show "Flowers and Boys Season 1".
On September 6th and 7th, he held two "Mars" concerts at Beijing Mastercard Center, and then released his first solo album "Quasimodo's Gift", and won the 2015 QQ Award for this album Music awards such as Best Mainland Male Singer of the Year.
From July 31st to August 2nd, 2015, he held three solo concerts on the Shanghai Grand Stage; in December of the same year, he released his second album "Alien" and won the 2016 Cool Music Asia Festival Album of the Year and other awards. Early life
Hua Chenyu was born on February 7, 1990 in Shiyan, Hubei. He has been involved in music since he was a child. Before the fifth grade of elementary school, the flute was Hua Chenyu’s favorite. As he grew older, he was no longer satisfied with the musical world that the flute brought him. After communicating with his father and gaining support, Hua Chenyu began to learn piano. Although the process was not smooth sailing, with his own efforts, he quickly reached Piano level ten.
When he graduated from junior high school, Hua Chenyu had already made plans for his future. He wanted to learn more about music and go to high school in Wuhan. In 2009, Hua Chenyu took the college entrance examination. He wanted to go to the Wuhan Conservatory of Music, and he got perfect marks in professional courses, but he missed out on his favorite higher education institution because of a one-point difference in cultural courses. But he insisted on repeating his studies and must be admitted to Wuhan Conservatory of Music.
