Requirements for studying abroad at the Russian Conservatory of Music
1. Musical works: Music applicants must submit video works first. The specific repertoire can be determined by whether the school has requirements or candidates who have successfully applied in the past two years. After the suggested repertoire is reviewed and approved, the school will arrange interviews in the order of registration;
2. Certificate documents: High school students need a high school diploma to apply for university, and university applications for postgraduate students require undergraduate diplomas and degree certificates. School results, resume, award certificates, letters of recommendation. Two Chinese and English translations are required. Other requirements include passport, ID card, two-inch white background photo, school invitation letter, and visa;
3. Foreign language scores: Studying in Russia requires a certificate of Russian as a foreign language, and students who choose English-taught courses need to take TOEIC. If you don’t have a good foundation in Russian and have not obtained a level certificate in the exam, you need to take a one-year preparatory class to learn the language and professional knowledge.
