The four major schools of Chinese classical dance are as follows:
1. Body Yun School
The Body Yun School of Chinese classical dance is a school with the significance of Chinese classical dance. Body rhythm comes from opera body movements and Chinese martial arts. During the preparation period, we started to study and organize Chinese classical dance from the dances retained in opera.
The original dance movement logic in the opera is deconstructed, the movements are analyzed into components, and then installed on the framework of ballet structural methods. As a professional dancer, Shenyun must know it. It not only has its own system, but also provides a methodology for the cultural construction of Chinese classical dance.
2. Han and Tang Schools
Han and Tang dance is based on the spirit and temperament of the Han and Tang Dynasties, the most splendid in ancient Chinese history, and is represented by the music and dance culture of the Han and Tang Dynasties and the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It was created based on mature traditional opera and dance forms.
3. Dunhuang School
Dunhuang dance images mainly include Tiangong music and dance, mural folk song and dance scenes, Hu Xuan, Hu Teng, Zhezhi and other national dance images. Dunhuang dance inherits the foundation of this tradition, adheres to the traditional Chinese aesthetic principles, and absorbs and draws lessons from the dances of various ethnic groups.
Using the rhythm and rhythm of classical dance, the static postures are combined with the movement process of a unified style to form a more complete dance movement and modeling system. The typical form is the three S-shaped bends of the neck, twisting the waist, moving the hips and hooking the feet, as well as the edges and bends of the arms.
4. Kun Dance School
Kun dance is produced and developed based on the study of Kun Opera art. It is the refinement and processing of the essential spirit and charm of Kun Opera. It is not only restricted by Kun Opera, but also a new style of Chinese classical dance expanded with dance concepts.
