To be honest, this movie is not as good-looking as originally advertised. I went to see it after reading the tweets about "Flash Girl". After watching it, I only had one feeling - just like that.
Maybe the tweet was written too well. Before watching the movie, my expectations were too high, but the movie did not meet those expectations, so I feel this way.
The movie tells the story of an ordinary girl who falls in love with an outstanding senior brother, but is insulted that the Yangqin is not as good as Western instruments. This leads to a competition between Western instruments and Eastern instruments. In the end, the feud is cleared up due to a competition. Ensemble story.
The movie has several major flaws. One is the school’s prejudice against Eastern and Western musical instruments. In China, it is impossible for a school to be so discriminatory about folk music. The movie is a bit too exaggerated for the sake of the plot. Second is the ending. In the early stage, we talked about how much the heroine and her friends love their majors, but the ending is that no one is engaged in a job that matches their musical instrument major.
Later, a flyer inspired their enthusiasm. I have to say that the ending really seemed to be a kind of coping. It wanted to reflect reality without being too realistic.
