Taekwondo quality

Quality is very important in Taekwondo, but many Taekwondo lovers don't know what quality is, why to practice quality, how to practice quality and so on. In order to deepen the understanding of taekwondo enthusiasts, the following is an explanation.

1. How about the quality? Quality is an exercise system that integrates defense and attack according to basic movements. Pose is a technique that assumes a real battle and strikes back when the other side attacks. That is, the training system of setting the opponent's attack first and then practicing with appropriate techniques. Quality is allocated according to the strength and level of practitioners, and a set of quality routines can be composed of 18~30 technical movements.

Poetry (poomsee)

Quality is also called "type". The so-called "style" is equivalent to the routine of China Wushu, that is, a certain number of movements are connected in series to form a unified pattern routine, which has certain characteristics and difficulties. Taekwondo routines are also called quality. In this way, you can practice your legs, feet, body and arms, and you can combine and cooperate with each other. Tai Chi form of Taekwondo is an action routine based on universal philosophy and Tai Chi Yin and Yang theory. Therefore, its movement route is also based on the law of yin-yang gossip line. Therefore, the basic principles of Taiji cosmology are all applied flexibly, whether attacking or defending, advancing or retreating, fast or slow, vigorous and flexible. The combination of footwork such as flexion, riding, natural body, cross body, cat's foot plus positive fist, interception fist, elastic fist, hand penetration, elbow stroke, wrist defense, hand knife chest release, cross defense and hand knife defense requires infinite physical and mental state.

It refers to a kind of practice method in which the practitioner takes technical attack as the main content and arranges offensive and defensive movements to achieve the purpose of strengthening the body and exercising the will.

There are about 25 sets of eleven styles of Taekwondo, including Taiji Zhang 1-8, Bagua Zhang 1-8 and 9 sets of stage styles. Each set also has its prescribed number of movements and martial arts routes, which are quite standardized. As an auxiliary exercise, the first to eighth chapters of the Eight Diagrams are products that were no longer used for exams after 1973 was created.

The chapter of Taiji represents the meanqiáng of [gan] in Taiji Eight Diagrams, and it is a divination symbol for heaven. Because [walking] is the foundation of all things in the universe, and the chapter of Taiji is also the foundation of Taekwondo.

The second chapter of Taiji represents the meaning of [capital] in Taiji Eight Diagrams and is a symbol of divination. [Right] means being firm inside and soft outside, so we should pay attention to being soft outside and storming inside.

The three chapters of Taiji represent the meaning of [Li ](lí) in Taiji Bagua. Divination for fire. [Walking] means bright as fire. So pay attention to the activity of the action when performing.

The four chapters of Taiji represent the meaning of [truth] in Taiji gossip. For thunder. [Earthquake] means to be alert and pious at all times. Because the movements in the routine are more difficult, we should pay attention to the accuracy of the movements when performing.

The five chapters of Taiji represent the meaning of [Xun] (xê n) in Taiji Eight Diagrams. Divination for the wind. Xun means wind, so we should pay attention to the growing spirit like wind when expressing it. From the monotonous silence at the beginning of the action to the gradual intensity.

The six chapters of Taiji represent the meaning of [Kan] (k m 4 n) in Taiji Eight Diagrams. Divination for water. "Kan" means soft as water. The performance of routines should be mainly soft, highlighting the truth that everything grows with water.

The seven chapters of Taiji represent the meaning of [root] (gèn) in Taiji Bagua. For mountain divination. Gen means mountain. The performance of routines should include the strength of mountains and pay attention to the rhythm of movements. The technical movements in the seventh chapter of Taiji are diversified and more difficult than the previous chapters.

The eight chapters of Taiji represent the meaning of [Kun] (kūn) in Taiji Bagua. For the earth. Kun means the earth. The earth is the source of all things, so the Eight Chapters of Tai Chi is also the last process of Taekwondo practitioners in practice. Because learners are proficient in various technical movements, repetitive movements are subtracted from the performance, and the movements are diversified.

The so-called "Tai Chi" in Taekwondo is basically consistent with the "Tai Chi Eight Diagrams" in China's Book of Changes, which represents the basic truth of the philosophy of the universe. In Taekwondo, the "type", that is, the "quality", every movement is based on the thought and form of Tai Chi, and in its process, the Yin and Yang lines representing the essence of the universe are also chosen. Attack and defense, advance and retreat, giving priority to speed, and combining rigidity and softness in the routine all flexibly use the changeable cosmic Taiji principle.
