March of the Volunteers is a song written by Tian Han and composed by Nie Er. It is the theme song of the movie "The Son of the Storm" and is called the horn of national liberation in China. Since the birth of 1935 at the critical moment of national peril, it has played a great role in inspiring the patriotic enthusiasm of China people, and later became National Anthem of the People's Republic of China.
