Examination subjects for music art candidates
1. Vocal singing: Through the candidate’s song singing, the candidate’s voice condition, pitch, rhythm and music performance ability are measured.
2. Instrumental performance: Through the candidate's musical instrument performance, the candidate's performance level and musical performance ability are measured.
3. Music theory: Through the examination, the candidate’s mastery of the basic knowledge of various elements in music is tested.
4. Sight-singing and ear training: Test the candidates' musical quality through the test of music listening ability, sight-singing ability and music memory, and determine whether the candidates have the necessary hearing conditions for learning music. Basic requirements for music art candidates
1. Vocal singing
Candidates must prepare three songs of their own, including Chinese and foreign folk songs, art songs, creative songs, opera arias, etc. During the exam, the candidate will choose one song, the examiner will select one song, and the *** will sing two songs. The singing time shall not exceed 6 minutes.
It should be noted that candidates cannot bring their own accompaniment. Each vocal examination room is equipped with a piano accompaniment teacher. If accompaniment is required, candidates must provide accompaniment scores (staff notation).
2. Instrumental performance
Keyboard instruments (piano, keyboard, accordion) - one etude; two self-prepared pieces, one of which will be selected for each person Candidates must perform no more than 8 minutes (performing from memory).
Orchestral instruments - a set of scales and arpeggios (strings plus double-note scales); one etude; two self-prepared pieces, one of which will be drawn for the test, and each candidate can play no more than 8 Minutes (performed from memory); Western percussion: Bring your own snare drum etude; choose marimba (bring your own etude or one piece of music) or timpani (bring your own etude or piece of music).
National musical instruments - three self-prepared pieces of music, two of which will be selected for the test. Each candidate will perform for no more than 8 minutes (performed from memory).
It should be noted that the instrument performance is unaccompanied. Candidates are not allowed to bring their own accompaniments, and accompaniments are not provided in the examination room.
