Hui folk songs are greatly influenced by the intonation of Islamic chanting, and some works have a strong Islamic style in mode, rotation and rhythm. Hua Hui mainly adopts three modal syllables, namely [2.5.6. 125], [5.6 12.3.5] and [5.6. 1245]. There are also some unique characteristics of our nation in the method of tone modulation, such as the continuous four-degree jump of Shang and Zheng tones, the circuitous jump of pentatonic scale, the decline when the mode tonic stops, and so on. This makes the emblem flower sonorous and rough, but it also has a long lasting appeal.
