Research on Lingnan Music in Music Department of Xinghai Conservatory of Music
Lingnan music research, as a key research direction supported by our college, has achieved initial results with the joint efforts of all teaching and research personnel for many years. Chen Tianguo:

In September, 2002, he participated in the 12th annual meeting of the Chinese Traditional Music Society, and his thesis "Exploration of Chinese Buddhist Music".

In June, 2002, he participated in the academic seminar of Luo Jiuxiang, and wrote a paper on Mr. Luo Jiuxiang's contribution to Hakka music.
