Mondo Bongo.
Mondo Bongo is actually an ancient indigenous music of Colombia (Spanish is the language of Colombia). Its real meaning is "unrestrained and wild", which is derived from the big drum played by local residents for entertainment and festivals.
Choreographer Margaret Derrick carefully arranged the dance scenes. In the film, when John and Jane meet for the first time in Santa Fe Bogota, their dance symbolizes the release of passion. The strangeness and mystery of each other stimulates the secretion of adrenaline, and the dance is also full of provocation and competition.
The soundtrack for this dance comes from the classic "One Step Away" by the famous tango dance master Carlos Gardel. This song has appeared in "Scent of a Woman" and "Schindler". The tango from classics like "The List" and "True Lies."
