Chapter I General Provisions

Article 1 Gansu Musicians Association (hereinafter referred to as Gansu Musicians Association) is a professional and academic people's organization composed of musicians of all ethnic groups under the leadership of Gansu Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC). It is a bridge and link between the party and the government and musicians, and a member of Gansu Federation of Literary and Art Circles and China Musicians Association. Guided by Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought and Deng Xiaoping Theory, Gansu Musicians Association carries out China's basic line, adheres to the direction of literature and art serving the people and socialism, implements the policy of "letting a hundred flowers blossom, a hundred schools of thought contend, making foreign things serve China, making the past serve the present and bringing forth the new", carries forward the main theme and advocates diversification. Unite musicians and musicians, promote the prosperity and development of music art in our province, and make contributions to the construction of socialist spiritual civilization, reform and opening up and socialist modernization.

Article 2 The Association shall abide by the Constitution of People's Republic of China (PRC) and the national laws and regulations, and conduct business activities according to its own characteristics.

Chapter II Members

Article 3. Musicians from our province and the troops stationed in Gansu who agree to the articles of association and have made certain achievements in music creation, performance, criticism, research, teaching, editing, translation, foreign exchange, music popularization and organization can apply to join the association. The detailed and specific membership conditions are implemented according to the membership conditions discussed and approved by the new Standing Committee.

Article 4 Anyone who applies to join the club shall be introduced by two members of the club, recommended by the local music association or the college group directly under the provincial level, apply to the club and become a member of the club after examination and approval.

Article 5 Members have the obligation to abide by the articles of association, implement the resolutions of the association, participate in the activities of the association and pay their dues on time.

Article 6 Members shall have the right to vote and stand for election in the Association, and have the right to make suggestions and criticisms on the work of the Association. Members have the freedom to withdraw from the meeting.

Article 7 This Association shall safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of its members according to law.

Article 8 If a member seriously violates the articles of association or touches the criminal law due to illegal crimes, his membership shall be cancelled after discussion and approval by the Standing Council.

Chapter III Organization

Article 9 Democratic centralism is the organizing principle of this Association. The highest authority of the association is the member congress. Members' congresses elect chairmen, vice-chairmen and directors; Nominated by the President to appoint the Secretary-General and Deputy Secretary-General; The Standing Council is composed of the Chairman, the Vice Chairman and the Secretary-General, and is responsible for the daily work of the Association, and establishes necessary working bodies as required.

Editorial department of publications

Article+Members' Congress shall be held once every five years, and may be held in advance or postponed if necessary. The Council shall be convened by the Standing Council from time to time.

Article+1 The Association shall have several honorary posts as required, which shall be elected by the Standing Council.

Chapter IV Tasks

Article 12 The Association shall be responsible for liaison, coordination and service to its members, and give professional guidance to their meeting activities.

Article +3 Actively organize and encourage members to study Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought and Deng Xiaoping Theory, the Party's principles and policies, business and scientific and cultural knowledge, and strive to improve the ideological and cultural quality and professional level of the music team.

Fourteenth encourage and organize members to go deep into life, carry out creative activities, and constantly improve the ideological and artistic level of musical works.

Fifteenth actively hold performances, exchanges and seminars and other activities to promote the improvement and development of music performing arts and music education.

Article 16 Organize academic seminars to promote the improvement and development of criticism and theoretical work.

Seventeenth organize members to collect, sort out and study the cultural heritage and folk music of all ethnic groups in China, and carry forward the fine tradition of developing music.

Article +8 Organize members to participate in the popularization of music, care about participating in national music education, strive to improve the level of national music education, carry out social music activities, and enrich people's music and cultural life.

Article +9 organizes competitions and awards to reward outstanding music creation, music performance, music theory achievements and musicians who have made remarkable contributions to music education and other music work.

Article 2+Actively promote the exchange of music culture between our province and the whole country, strengthen the contact and exchange with other provinces' music organizations and musicians, learn from successful experiences, and strive to improve the overall level of music culture.

Twenty-first actively discover and cultivate new forces, develop contributing musicians to join clubs, and constantly expand associations.

Twenty-second face the society, grasp the market economy of music culture, organize members to carry out paid services, hold various kinds of music professional and technical training, and identify music skills, papers and works. Actively raise funds for the association's business activities.

Chapter V Others

Article 2+3 Sources of funds of the Association: state grants, membership fees, social sponsorship and other lawful income.

Article 2+4 The right to amend the Articles of Association belongs to the Congress; The power of interpretation belongs to the current Council.
