? Last month, I was invited to participate in the public observation class of Orff music in my son’s kindergarten. I first learned about Orff music after the kindergarten offered this course. At that time, I checked the relevant knowledge online and learned that Orff music is an educational system. The educational principle is the original music education. Music Closely integrated with movement, dance, and language, children are not listeners, but personally participate as performers. Under the guidance of the teacher, they focus on a specific sound source, listen, identify, and imagine different sounds from life and nature. Sound, it pays more attention to the development of children's inner world.
? This open class is divided into older age groups and younger age groups. The theme is "Spring" and the music is the first movement of Italian composer Vivaldi's "Concerto of the Four Seasons". The class is accompanied by relevant pictures. , text, and musical instruments such as copper bells, sand eggs, string bells, and small sticks are prepared for the older children. For the younger children, there are props and instruments such as gauze ribbons, water sleeves, double bells, and tambourines. At the beginning of the course, the children stepped on the rhythm with their feet to say hello to the teacher. After entering the course, they followed the melody of the music and mobilized their bodies to beat the rhythm, feeling the speed of the music. Then they listened to the music while looking for various things they heard in a picture. Sound, under the guidance of the teacher, expand your imagination, how do birds fly in the sky, how do small fish swim in the water, how do farmers plow the fields and plant rice, and what do they do when there is thunder and lightning? Finally, the children performed the music through musical instruments and props. Although some rhythms were not very accurate and some were not in good order, they seemed to be entertaining themselves, but in fact they were also happy improvisations.
Throughout the course, the children were immersed in music, either playing instruments in ecstasy, or interacting with the children around them, using body, language, and instruments to express their understanding of music. In one class, children have to listen with their ears, see with their eyes, hum with their mouths, and coordinate with movements. All organs are involved in the performance of music. At the same time, they also understand what happens in nature in spring and count while looking at pictures. When using musical instruments and props, most children followed the teacher's instructions according to their own division of labor, and at the same time cooperated as a group to complete the musical ensemble. I feel that music at this time is no longer just melody and rhythm, but the display, blending and dialogue of children's various abilities. It is the influence of art. I hope the children can swim happily in the world of Orff music and continue to develop themselves. potential and cultivate your own soul.
