Radio gymnastics (also translated as radio gymnastics) is a sport that is widely known in Japan, mainland China, North Korea and other regions and has many practitioners.
Broadcast gymnastics is a kind of freehand exercise that does not require equipment and can be carried out in a limited space. It is usually carried out following the broadcast, and the rhythm can also be directed by passwords. Broadcast gymnastics generally has 8 to 10 movements, and each movement has 2 to 4 eight beats. An eight beat is a set of basic movements. Usually, the first four beats and the last four beats of an eight beat are symmetrical. By doing a complete set of movements, all parts of the body are exercised.
The All-China Sports Federation has released the first set to the ninth set of radio gymnastics. In addition, the State Sports General Administration has also promoted a set of "Popular Broadcast Gymnastics". The form of each set is generally the same, with some changes in movements.
In primary and secondary schools, radio gymnastics are usually practiced every day; in industrial and mining enterprises and public institutions, they often appear in the form of workplace exercises.
In addition to these 10 sets of radio gymnastics, there are also various other versions of radio gymnastics arranged to imitate this form.
National Radio Gymnastics for Primary and Secondary School Students
"National Radio Gymnastics Series for Primary and Secondary School Students" is a radio gymnastics series specially compiled by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China and the People's Republic of China for primary and secondary school students in 1998. It will be implemented in primary and secondary schools across the country. Compared with mass broadcast gymnastics, this series of music is more lively, faster-paced, and more suitable for primary and secondary school students; before this, primary and middle school students and adults had been using a set of radio gymnastics.
Radio gymnastics and eye exercises are both called "two gymnastics" in primary and secondary schools. They are fixed activities every day in schools. Both exercises are arranged by the school and students are organized to perform them within a fixed time: radio gymnastics are mostly performed in Carry out early in the morning or in the morning; eye exercises are arranged once in the morning, once in the afternoon, or in the afternoon.
