First of all, the method of inserting flash movies into PowerPoint.
Second, insert video into PPT.
Third, several methods of inserting sound in PowerPoint.
Fourthly, add commentary when making courseware with PowerPoint.
You can insert animation and video audio formats of PPT.
Animation: swf gif
Video: avi mpg wmv
Audio: avi mpg wav mid mp3 (some do not support it)
First of all, the method of inserting flash movies into PowerPoint.
Method 1: Insert method with control.
1. Open the toolbox. Operating Steps: Start powerpoint and select View Toolbar Control Toolbox from the main menu. As shown in figure 1
2. Select "Other Controls" in the control toolbox. The Active X controls installed on your computer are listed, and the Shockwave Flash object control is found. As shown in figure 2.
3. At this point, the mouse becomes "+",and draw a box where the flash animation needs to be inserted in the slide. As shown in figure 3.
4. Click the right mouse button in the box and click Properties, as shown in Figure 4, and then the Shockwave Flash object property setting bar appears, as shown in Figure 5.
5. Left-click "Customize" and fill in the path and file name of the swf file to be inserted in the input field after the movie URL(M) in the pop-up dialog box. Of course, it is also possible to read swf files directly on the Internet. As shown in fig. 6.
Note: When filling in the movie website, you need to fill in the file extension. Sovereign wealth fund. In addition, "embedded movie" is selected, that is, flash animation is included in ppt file, and it is not necessary to copy the animation file at the same time. When copying or moving ppt to other computers, flash can still be displayed normally. If "embed movie" is not selected, you need to copy the animation file and ppt file at the same time, and modify the URL path of the movie, otherwise a white box will appear at the animation position, and the animation display will be abnormal. I suggest choosing "embedded movies". If flash player is not installed on the computer, it can run normally.
Just save and browse.
Advantages: 1) flash player is not required to be installed; 2) Select "Embedded Movie" in the dialog box shown in Figure 6, and the animation file and ppt file can be integrated. When copying, you don't need to copy the animation file separately or modify the path.
Disadvantages: The operation is relatively complicated.
Method 2: Use the object insertion method.
1, create a new presentation after starting PowerPoint;
2. Click "Insert-Object" on the menu bar on the page where Flash animation needs to be inserted, as shown in Figure 7. The Insert Object dialog box appears, click Create from File-Browse, select the Flash animation file to be inserted, and then confirm, as shown in Figure 8;
3. Click the right mouse button on the icon just inserted with Flash animation to open the shortcut menu and select action settings, as shown in Figure 9. The Operation Settings dialog box will appear. You can select mouse click or mouse hover, select the active content in the object operation item, and click OK, as shown in figure 10.
Select the "slide show → watch show" command, when the mouse moves over the Flash object, the Flash animation can be demonstrated, the embedded flash animation can keep its function unchanged, and the button is still valid. Note: When playing the ppt file inserted into the flash animation in this way, the flash playback software (Adobe Flash Player) will be started to complete the animation playback, so the computer must have Flash Player to run normally.
Advantages: Animation file and ppt file are integrated. When moving or copying ppt files, you don't need to move or copy animation files at the same time, and you don't need to change the path.
Disadvantages: flash player must be installed in the computer when playing.
Method 3: Insert flash animation with hyperlink.
1. Create a new presentation after starting PowerPoint;
2. Insert a picture or text on the slide to edit the hyperlink. In this example, we insert a circle.
3. Right-click Circle and select Edit Hyperlink to enter the hyperlink editing window, as shown in figure 1 1. Enter the flash animation file address in the editing window, and finally click OK, as shown in figure 12.
4. Save the file.
Note: There are three points to note when using hyperlinks to insert animations: 1) Changing the animation file name or storage location will result in the hyperlink "Unable to open the specified file". The solution is to copy the file with the animation file, and then edit the hyperlink again. 2) When playing ppt, click the hyperlink and the following window will pop up, as shown in figure 13. Generally, click OK. 3) flash player must be installed on the computer to play the animation normally.
Advantages: simple operation
Disadvantages: Because ppt and animation files are linked, in the process of copying or moving ppt files, animation files must be copied and moved at the same time, and the link path must be changed. Otherwise, the "Cannot open the specified file" dialog box will appear. In addition, flash player must be installed in the computer to play normally.
Second, insert video into PPT.
(1) Play video directly.
This way of playing is to insert the prepared video file directly into the slide as a movie file, which is the simplest and most intuitive method. After the video file is inserted into the slide, PowerPoint only provides simple [pause] and [continue playing] controls, and there are no more operation buttons to choose from. So this method is especially suitable for beginners of PowerPoint. The following are the specific steps:
1. Run the PowerPoint program, open the slide and insert the video file.
2. Move the mouse to the menu bar, click the "Insert" option, and execute the "Insert Movie File" command in the open drop-down menu.
3. In the file selection dialog box that pops up, select the video file prepared in advance, and click Add to insert the video file into the slide show.
4. Use the mouse to select the video file, move it to a suitable location, and then click the [Play] button directly to play the video according to the screen prompts, or select the automatic play mode.
5. In the process of playing, you can move the mouse to the video window, and click to pause playing the video. If you want to continue playing, just click with the mouse again.
(2) Insert the control for playing video.
This method is to insert the video file into the slide as a control, and then play the video by modifying the properties of the control. In this way, there are a variety of optional operation buttons, and the playback process can be completely controlled by itself, which is more convenient and flexible. This method is more suitable for PowerPoint courseware where pictures, words and videos are on the same page.
1. Run the PowerPoint program, open the slide and insert the video file.
2. Move the mouse to the menu bar, click the view option, select the control toolbox from the open drop-down menu, and then select the [Other Controls] button from the lower menu.
3. In the control options interface that opens later, select the "Windows Media Player" option, and then move the mouse to the editing area of PowerPoint to draw a rectangular area with appropriate size, which will automatically become the playing interface of Windows Media Player (as shown in figure 1).
4. Select the playback interface with the mouse, then click the right mouse button and select the "Properties" command from the pop-up shortcut menu to open the "Properties" window of the media playback interface.
5. In the Properties window, enter the detailed path and file name of the video file to insert the slide correctly in the File Name setting. In this way, when the slide is open, you can play the specified video through the [Play] control key.
6. In order to better organize the inserted video files with the slides, you can also modify the positions of the control bar, the playback slider bar and the video property bar in the property setting interface.
7. In the process of playing, you can control the video through buttons such as [Play], [Stop], [Pause] and [Adjust Volume] in the media player.
(3) Insert the object of playing video.
This method inserts a video file as an object into a slide show. Different from the above two methods, it can choose the video clip that needs to be played at will and then play it. The implementation steps are as follows:
1. Open the slide that needs to insert the video file, and click the Insert/Object command to open the Insert Object dialog box.
2. After selecting the "New" option, select the "Video Clip" option in the corresponding "Object Type" setting column, and click [OK] (as shown in Figure 2).
3.PowerPoint automatically switches to the video attribute setting state, executes the "Insert Clip /Windows Video" command, and inserts the prepared video file into the slide.
4. Execute the "Edit/Option" command to open the option setting box, where you can set whether the video will be played in a loop or backward after playing, and click [OK] to return to the video property setting interface.
5. Click the video [In] button and [Out] button in the toolbar to reset the starting point and ending point of the video file, so as to achieve the purpose of randomly selecting the video clips to be played.
6. Click the left mouse button on the blank area of the setting interface to exit the video setting interface and return to the editing state of the slide show. You can also use the preview command to check the editing effect of the video.
Third, several methods of inserting sound in PowerPoint.
(1) Use a certain piece of music as the background music for the whole presentation.
If you use PowerPoint to make electronic photo albums and photo albums, people not only want to enjoy beautiful pictures, but also want to hear beautiful music. We can do the following on the first slide:
1. Prepare a music file, which can be in WAV, MID or MP3 file format.
2. Execute "Sound in File" in the "Movie and Sound" option under the "Insert" menu, insert the sound file you selected, and at the same time, a dialog box pops up asking whether to automatically play the sound file during the slide show, and select "Yes". A corner icon appears on the slide.
3. Click the "Horn" icon with the right mouse button and select "Custom Animation" from the pop-up shortcut menu.
4. In the Multimedia Settings tab of the Custom Animation dialog box, make the following settings:
When playing: Select "Continue Slide Show"
Stop playing: Select "After XX slides", depending on the number of slides in your album or album. For example, if the total number of slides is 20, enter "20" here.
Then, click the "Other Options …" button on the tab, select "Loop until it stops" in the pop-up dialog box, and then click the "OK" button in turn to close each dialog box.
Fourthly, add commentary when making courseware with PowerPoint.
If we want to automatically play the commentary during the slide show, we can adopt the following methods:
1. First, record the commentary of this slide and save it as a sound file.
2. Select the slide to which you want to add commentary as the current slide, and execute the "Slide Switch" command under the "Slide Show" menu.
3. In the "Slide Switch" dialog box that pops up, do the following:
Select "Other Sounds …" in the Sound drop-down list, select the sound file you recorded in the subsequent Add Sound dialog box, click OK to close the Add Sound dialog box, and then click Apply to close the Slide Switch dialog box.
If we want the presenter to decide whether to play the sound according to the situation, we can make interactive buttons to control the sound to play or stop. This method is often used in courseware making. The specific operation steps are as follows:
1. First, record the commentary of this slide and save it as a sound file.
2. Select the slide to which you want to add commentary as the current slide, and add two custom buttons to the slide, adding the words "Play sound" and "Stop playing sound" respectively.
3. Click the "Play Sound" button with the right mouse button, and select the "Action Settings" command in the pop-up shortcut menu. Then the Action Settings dialog box appears, and on the Click Mouse tab, do the following:
Action when clicking the mouse: Select "No Action";
Play sound: press √ in front of it to select other sounds from its drop-down list, select your recorded sound file in the Add Sound dialog box that appears later, click OK to close the Add Sound dialog box, and then click OK to close the Action Settings dialog box.
4. Click the "Stop Playing Sound" button with the right mouse button, and select the "Action Settings" command in the pop-up shortcut menu. Then the Action Settings dialog box appears, and on the Click Mouse tab, do the following:
Action when clicking the mouse: Select "No Action";
