In music appreciation teaching, I generally use three methods: situational teaching to penetrate the theme, singing the music theme, and listening to the music theme. Generally speaking, the tone with a prominent musical theme has a distinctive character, is mostly singing, and is easy to remember. When enjoying a musical work, it is difficult for students to remember all the melody. However, the musical theme is often the most distinctive and appears most frequently in the musical work, so it is easy for students to remember it. Students will be impressed by the musical works if they remember the musical themes. At the same time, the music theme is the essence of the music. The music theme generally expresses the mood and emotion of the music or the musical image in a collective manner. If you grasp the music theme, you will also grasp the main idea of ??the work. Guide students to accurately grasp the theme of music, which plays an important role in stimulating interest, triggering associations, and deepening understanding. Depending on the difficulty of the music theme, you can sing the score directly, or you can write lyrics and sing based on the emotions or situations expressed in the music. For example, when you are enjoying "March of the Lion King", you can write the lyrics: I am the Lion King, mighty and majestic, stick, stick, stick, stick, I am the Lion King, mighty and majestic, stick, stick, stick, stick. You can fill in the lyrics when you appreciate the music theme of "Blacksmith Polka": Ding-dang, Ding-dang, the blacksmith is so happy when he works, Ding-dang, Ding-dang, the blacksmith is so happy when he works. When enjoying "Hungarian Dances", one of the themes can be filled with lyrics: La la la la, let me ask you to dance, la la la la, let's dance together. etc. Singing musical themes can be performed in different forms. Music-themed tunes can be sung collectively. During the singing, students can independently tap or direct to express their emotions to their heart's content. The music theme can be sung by male and female students respectively, and the music theme can be performed by teachers or students. There are rich and colorful teacher-student activities. It makes the learning atmosphere in the classroom more active, students feel the music theme more deeply, and the image of the music theme becomes more vivid in the students' minds. The music theme is short and can be listened to repeatedly during teaching. Since music themes generally appear repeatedly in music, students can follow and identify the theme of the music, understand the structure of the music, and grasp the emotional characteristics of the music. Tracking the way the theme is heard can allow students to talk about how many times the theme appears in the piece. You can also design appropriate actions based on the mood of the topic, use actions to express when you hear the topic, etc. The third is to focus on reviewing music themes. Repeated listening and re-appreciation of music themes is a simple yet important teaching method. It can further deepen students' memory and understanding of music, develop and accumulate musical vocabulary, and achieve the purpose of understanding and loving music. Ways to review music themes can take many forms, such as playing simple music themes in instrumental music performances, pre-class music theme listening competitions, that is, listening to the theme and telling the name of the song, author, instrument, etc.
