Zhou Keqi, a native of Changsha, Hunan, was admitted to the Folk Music Department of Wuhan Conservatory of Music in 1995, majoring in bamboo flute. Zhou Keqi is a young flute player, a member of the Ethnic Wind Music Research Society of the Chinese Musicians Association, and a bamboo flute teacher in the Folk Music Department of Wuhan Conservatory of Music. He also passed the master's degree thesis defense with his thesis "Research on Zhao Songting's Bamboo Flute Art" and became the first bamboo flute master's degree in central and southern my country.
