College students want to start a business after graduation. What projects do you recommend? Do you make money by opening a musical instrument store?
Generally speaking, the funds available for college students to start their own businesses are very limited. You can choose some training programs, such as opening a musical instrument store. This business is naturally prepaid, the business model is right, and it makes considerable money.

Is it difficult to earn100000 a month?

It is not difficult to earn100000 a month. For grassroots entrepreneurs, once the key to success is found, the rest is hard work. Let me briefly talk about my entrepreneurial experience. I run a chain musical instrument store. Recently, my ninth chain store opened immediately, and all my nine stores are direct stores.

At present, the monthly profits of all my stores add up to far more than 65438+ 10,000.

/kloc-graduated from university in 0/4 and started a business with borrowed 20,000 yuan. This year is only three years. It takes about three months to open a new store on average, without equity financing, and the expansion is all rolling development of its own funds.

I have been a restless type since I was a child. I positioned myself as a businessman very early. Before graduating from college, I started my own business and started a software company. Due to lack of business experience, I earned a lot of accounts receivable after the project was completed. As a student who hasn't graduated, I don't have the ability to collect. Eventually, due to cash flow problems, the company closed down and the team was dissolved.

After the project failed, I learned from a bitter experience. I decided that the next venture must choose an industry with abundant cash flow, preferably a business model in the form of advance payment. After careful consideration, I think education is better. Finally, after careful investigation and analysis, I chose to open a musical instrument store and do piano training and education.

Many friends asked me why I wanted to open a musical instrument store, because I knew nothing about music and piano at that time. It doesn't matter, technology is not a problem. On the contrary, many development problems of music stores cannot be solved by music bosses, but need a business-minded boss.

The reason why I chose to open a musical instrument store is very simple, because in the education industry, musical instruments are one of the few sub-fields that have not yet formed a giant in the country. And my goal is to become a giant in this industry.

If you are careful, you will find that there are few large chain musical instruments on the market. In fact, if any industry wants to be big, I will sum up two points:

1. Only by standardizing products and services and reducing dependence on key resources can large-scale replication be carried out;

2, the product should be the ultimate.

Through careful analysis, I found that the two major pain points in the industry are actually common problems that hinder many service industries from becoming bigger and stronger:

First, the problem of teachers.

Music store owners are often easily led by teachers, afraid of being taken away by teachers and suddenly leaving their jobs. Once the teachers leave, there will be a great uproar in the music shop without mode and ideological control, and parents and children will scream.

The management and control of teachers is the biggest obstacle to the large-scale expansion of musical instruments. Many music companies have been working for more than ten years, but the boss has been teaching in person. I give such a boss the most appropriate title, store manager. Not the boss. In the end, I can only be a self-employed person forever.

The second problem: the quality of teaching is completely out of control.

Hungry, students from all corners of the country attend one or two classes a week and have no habit of practicing piano at all. It's just a class, no contact. For a long time, because children don't practice, the efficiency of each class is very low, and every class fails, so every class has new problems that they don't understand. Finally, children are disgusted and rejected when they hear piano lessons. What about the teacher? More disgusting. Going to work is like going to the grave. Because of the lessons taught, children don't learn at all, and they have no sense of accomplishment in their work, and even feel sick. Naturally, they want to leave their jobs. This is also the reason why many musical instruments can't keep their teachers. In this way, it is easy to form a vicious circle, which leads to the recruited teachers not focusing on teaching musical instruments well at all, but treating their children as fools. They are perfunctory about teaching tasks, students don't like to practice, teachers don't like to teach, and of course, they can't teach results in the end. This result is actually not what everyone wants.

I also spent a lot of time thinking and exploring these two difficulties, and finally found a better solution.

Regarding the dependence on teachers, in our current mode, we first compiled a standardized teaching process. Teachers are all screws, so are everyone. Naturally no teacher can threaten us. Secondly, I am proud of my unique cheats, that is, ideological and political work, instilling corporate values in teachers, parents and children, which is not something that bosses with general music backgrounds can do. If they can't do this, it is impossible to expand the scale. This is my advantage. I am a natural speaker, and I am very infectious. Many friends say that it is a waste for me not to engage in pyramid schemes, haha.

Musical shops are business, not art. Why do many owners of musical shops know how to play musical instruments themselves, and the scale and profits of musical shops basically can't keep up? It is that many small bosses have always been self-employed, spending their time teaching students personally, but lacking thinking about the industry.

For the second question about the quality of products and services, my experience is that there must be differentiation, find the core value points of the industry, do fine work and concentrate all resources to pursue. This core value point is the key to success.

Where is the core value of the musical instrument industry? After painful exploration, I found that effect is king. Don't look at advertisements, look at the curative effect. We must use the learning results to build positive feedback to teachers, parents and children.

In the words of the internet, it is to make the product to the extreme.

So I made my position clear first. What I want to do is popularize piano education on a large scale. For this kind of business model, in fact, in most cases, it is not that the teachers are not teaching well, but that the students are not practicing enough.

So, with the courage of a strong man to break his wrist, we adopted the enrollment and operation methods that others thought were incredible:

First, only students who are close to the store are accepted, which is convenient for practicing piano. Parents don't have to drive to pick up and drop off every day, which increases the attendance rate of students.

Second, students are not allowed to buy a piano to practice at home. They must come to the piano shop to complete the practice plan and tasks with good quality and quantity under the guidance of teachers.

Third: you must go to the music store every day and come every day. Unless you are sick and don't come for more than three days, give up the warning and don't come for the time being. You'd rather not do business and get a refund directly.

Our students must practice the piano every day, each student must be close to the music store, and parents don't have to drive to pick it up every day. After these conditions are met, it is possible to come to the piano shop every day to practice and receive counseling every day. In the short term, we lost some potential students and income, but in the long term, we gained user stickiness and reputation. Students' practice will be effective, and students, parents and teachers are becoming more and more confident.

This is a lesson. Only by concentrating resources on serving target customers can we become bigger and stronger. This is how brand recognition is erected. Now customers think of our musical instrument store, and their first reaction is high level and achievement.

At present, there are thousands of students in our musical instrument store. In the words of the internet, there is traffic. After the main business stabilized, I began to dig deep into the value of traffic. I have come up with many ideas that can increase user stickiness and increase income. For example, we will hold a concert for students during festivals or students' birthdays, so that on the one hand, students can show their learning achievements, and parents are happy and willing to pay for such a party for their children. After all, it will be a good memory for children growing up.

Being a musical instrument store requires too much business knowledge and business logic. You have to understand the essence of musical instrument training, financial knowledge and cash flow control, as well as decoration cost control. You have to have a set of site selection criteria, as well as internal and external communication skills, team building, values instillation methods, customer control, strategy formulation, process management, model building, large-scale teaching quality control, the relationship between quality and word of mouth, the logic of regional monopoly, enrollment and so on.

None of the above is directly related to the boss's musical literacy. Many bosses don't understand the nature of this business.

I think only businessmen can run musical instruments, and teachers are just one of the means of production. Businessmen need to integrate teachers, students, institutions and models in order to produce positive feedback.

Last time, a store manager asked me to change the air conditioner, saying that the air conditioner was not strong enough and the store was not cold enough. I refused.

Some music store owners spend all their money on decoration, making it look like a cafe, which is very stylish. As a result, they didn't recover the cost when they closed the door.

The essence of training is not decoration, not whether the air conditioner is cold enough. But to make a good product, the boss's three views must be correct, not fooling, not cheating, not making money that should not be earned, and keeping a learning attitude every day! Create your own market sharp knife with your heart! You will definitely find yourself earning more in the end.

Is the teacher the most important thing in musical instrument training? Yes and no, we think the most important thing is to screen students who can teach well and not to recruit students indiscriminately. With such requirements, we are constantly, rapidly and steadily growing in an environment where the industry is whining everywhere. Every store is basically full and the piano room is full every day.

What is the quality of teaching? Needless to say, because the children practice the piano every day, the teacher teaches it well. From the beginning, I built my musical instrument store according to the requirements of the regular army. Before, the seniors of the guerrilla musical instrument store took their children to visit and wanted to stay after seeing them. Many people who have studied for a year or two are not as solid as our basic skills this year. Therefore, it is difficult for our nearby musical instruments to survive, because other musical instruments have no practice at all and the average level is low. The students taught by my musical instrument store may not be particularly excellent, but the average level is still good. In my words, it won't be much worse if someone is caught practicing the piano, unless it's pig's head teaching, not to mention that we still have so many sparring teachers taking turns to tutor. Some parents who were confident in studying outside before all went out with their heads up and heads down, their faces black.

Over the past year, because of reports in trade magazines, many small music store owners have found us and sought a way out. At present, there are three main musical instruments in China:

First: pure sales category, only selling musical instruments, not training.

Second: pure training business, not selling musical instruments, but not moving, not selling miscellaneous brands, big brands do not have the strength to act as agents, nor can they get agents.

Third: the main business is musical instrument sales, and at the same time, I run the training industry and urge parents to buy musical instruments every day.

A musical instrument store that sells musical instruments only needs to press the goods, and the piano will occupy a lot of cash flow; Musical shops that focus on training business seem to be a light asset strategy model, and they don't make money anyway; Whether it's training or selling musical instruments, both are often not done well, and finally the word of mouth is broken, which is a vicious circle.

And I think I am the fourth, which combines the advantages of the above three. Taking training as the entrance of traffic, I bet on some piano goods, but the cash flow is sufficient, and I never force my parents to buy piano, and the sales of piano are not low. Moreover, this method is ingenious and can be used in many industries. What is the specific method? Haha, sell it. You can share more with me through Zhihu.
