I like Muyu songs, because Muyu songs belong to the tanci system, but unlike Suzhou tanci, there are no opening words, poems, words, sets of numbers and plain words. Later, influenced by Cantonese opera, Nanyin and Longzhou songs, it began to be dull. When singing, erhu, guzheng, pipa and sanxian are used as accompaniment, and bamboo board can also be used for high-fiving. There are two kinds of tunes: "Zheng Qiang" and "Bitter Throat". The former is lively and cheerful; The latter is melancholy and sad.

The survival and development of Muyu Song is now in danger of being lost, and it is in urgent need of rescue and protection.

Wuchuan has a unique folk music called "Muyu Song", which used to be sung by blind artists, also called "Blind Guy Song". Now, due to government relief, blind people no longer need to make a living by singing wooden fish. Therefore, Muyu Song has become an endangered folk music in Wuchuan. For this reason, Ou, an old folk artist in Wuchuan, has spent a lot of time and energy in various towns and villages in Wuchuan for decades, recording, collecting and sorting out this endangered folk music-Wuchuan Muyu Song, and compiling the collected data into a song book for future generations to sing. The Muyu Song, written and directed by him, won the first prize of literary works in Zhanjiang City and the bronze prize in Guangdong Quyi Competition.
