The six major music capitals in the world:
1. Vienna
The world-famous city of Vienna, the capital of Austria, is located in the Vienna Basin at the northern foot of the Alps in northeastern Austria. Surrounded by mountains, the Danube River passes through the city, and is surrounded by the famous Vienna Woods.
The name of Vienna has always been connected with music. Many music masters, such as Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, John Strauss and his sons, Greuk and Brahms have spent many years of their music careers here.
2. Harbin
Harbin is China’s century-old music city, and the city’s development has always been accompanied by music. The reason why Harbin has a rich musical heritage is indispensable to the large number of Jewish immigrants from Russia and Eastern Europe at the beginning of the last century. As a result, Harbin became the first city in my country to come into contact with European classical music, and many of China’s music-related “firsts” came from here.
3. Bologna
Bologna, a city in northern Italy, is located between the Po River and the Apennine Mountains in northern Italy. It is the capital of Emilia-Romagna.
4. Seville
Seville is the capital of the Andalucia Autonomous Region and the Province of Seville in Spain. It has an urban population of about 1.3 million and is the largest city in Spain. The fourth largest city. On March 30, 2006, UNESCO awarded Seville the title of "Music City".
5. Glasgow
Glasgow is the third largest city in the UK, the largest industrial and commercial city and port in Scotland, and the main cultural center of Scotland. The Royal Scottish Conservatory of Music is located here.
6. Ghent
Ghent was named the "City of Music" by UNESCO on June 8, 2009. The water city of Ghent originates from the Ganda language, meaning confluence, where the Lys and Skell rivers meet.
