Historical origin
Baduanjin is one of the oldest leading arts in China, which has the greatest influence on the development of leading arts. It can be divided into sitting Baduanjin and standing Baduanjin, north Baduanjin and south Baduanjin, Wen Baduanjin and Wu Baduanjin, and Shaolin Baduanjin and Taiji Baduanjin. Exactly why and when Baduanjin was created is still inconclusive.
Baduanjin is divided into two schools, the North School and the South School. When performing martial arts, Baduanjin adopts soft movements, mostly standing movements, which is called the South School. It is entrusted by Liang Shichang, and its movements are mostly horse steps. It is called the North School, and the attachment is passed down by Yue Fei. From the perspective of literature and action, whether it is the South School or the North School, it all comes from the same source. Among them, there is no textual research on the descendants of the affiliated association.
