Mayday officially debuted on March 29, 1997. Their famous song is "Zhiming and Chunjiao".

Mayday, a rock band from Taiwan, China, consists of Wen Shangyi (Monster), Chen Xinhong (Axin), Shi Jinhang (Stone), Cai Shengyan (Martha), and Liu Yanming (Guanyou). The band was formerly known as "So Band". As of 2016, the band has won the "Taiwan Golden Melody Award" and "Best Band Award" four times.

In June 1998, Mayday joined Rolling Stone Records and officially became a member of Rolling Stone Records. On July 7, 1999, the first album "The First Creative Album" after joining the Rolling Stones was released. This album contains the song "Zhiming and Chunjiao" sung by singer Mayday, which is also known as one of the band's masterpieces.
