The 2022 Shanghai Unified Examination for Art Majors (Musicology) for General Universities Admissions will be held on December 11th (Saturday) and 12th (Sunday). Instructions for Candidates of the Unified Music Examination
1. Candidates must arrive at the test center 45 minutes in advance according to the test time of each subject. Entering the test center must undergo necessary inspections such as identity verification and physical health monitoring. Candidates can enter the examination room or waiting area 15 minutes in advance. After entering the examination room and waiting area, they are not allowed to leave at will. They must sit at the designated location as required. Please be sure to take the exam on time. Those who miss the exam will not be allowed to make up the exam.
2. Candidates must take the exam with their admission ticket and valid identity document (including resident ID card, social security card with photo, driver's license, passport, military ID card) (any one missing from the two certificates is not allowed to take the exam) . For the first test (music theory or dictation), you must enter the test center with the "Candidate Test Safety Commitment Letter" and hand it to the invigilator when entering the test room.
3. Candidates should wear masks during the whole process when entering the test center except for checking the certificates. They do not need to wear masks during the test. According to the epidemic prevention and control requirements, parents of candidates and other test companions are not allowed to enter the test center on the day of the test.
4. Candidates are strictly prohibited from bringing various communication tools (such as mobile phones, smart watches, smart bracelets and other equipment), any photographic equipment, recording and playback equipment and other items into the examination room.
5. Candidates who take the instrumental music and vocal music examination subjects at the same time must arrange the order of the examination subjects reasonably according to the examination time, and must complete the corresponding examination within the specified time period.
7. The exam registration number is generated before the exam and filled in on site. The candidate's name, admission ticket number and other personal information of the candidate are not allowed to appear in the track column.
8. The instruments required for the exam include piano, organ (exam model: CONTENT 346R; JOHANNUS 170), electronic organ (exam model: YAMAHA ESL02C; RINGWAY RS1000E), harp, and percussion instruments (Timpani, snare drum, marimba, and jazz drums are provided in the examination room.) All students must bring their own.
9. Candidates for vocal music examinations are not allowed to bring their own accompaniment. There are piano accompaniment teachers in the examination room. If you need accompaniment, you need to provide your own accompaniment score (staff score). Instrumental music exams are unaccompanied (candidates are not allowed to bring their own accompaniments, and accompaniments are not provided in the examination room).
10. For the examination of professional basic subjects (music theory, sight-singing and ear training), candidates must bring black pens, ballpoint pens or signature pens, pencils, erasers and other necessary stationery. Other items unrelated to the examination are not allowed. Enter the examination room. Those who are 15 minutes late will not be allowed to take the exam. After the exam, all exam materials such as test papers, scratch paper, and music scores are not allowed to be taken out of the exam room.
11. After the exam, please leave the exam area as soon as possible or go to the waiting area for other untested subjects to prepare for the exam. You are not allowed to stay in the exam area for subjects that have been tested.
12. Candidates must abide by the examination discipline and examination room rules, take the examination with integrity, and consciously accept the management of the examination center staff. Anyone who violates disciplines or cheats will be dealt with in accordance with the "Measures for Handling Violations of National Educational Examinations" (Ministry of Education Order No. 33) and will be recorded in the National Educational Examination Integrity Files; those who are suspected of violating the law will be transferred by the examination center to the local public security agency and will be handled in accordance with the "China Education Examination Order No. 33". The People's Liberation Army and the People's Republic of China Criminal Law Amendment (Ninth)" and related regulations shall be dealt with.
13. There are no parking spaces at the test center. The main transportation to the test center (No. 20 Fenyang Road, Shanghai Conservatory of Music) is: Bus: No. 96, No. 45, No. 42, No. 327, No. 167, No. 320, No. 920, No. 926; Rail transit: No. 10 Metro , Shaanxi South Road Station of Line 12, Changshu Road Station of Metro Lines 1 and 7.
