"Don't Stop My Music" is not a painful betrayal or self-subversion this time. The songs on this album can also be very expressive, so heavy isn't the only way to express it. It is, at best, a medium.
The music environment in China is like this. Just like people are tolerant of Brother Yong who has always been a "pretty girl", they are never easy to let go of Dou Wei, Xu Wei, etc. who have changed. If the choice of heavy music by those who loved it back then still bears the mark of the times, then now they will have more different choices. The new album has a lot of songs about being on the road. And "on the road" is indeed a process that can inspire unlimited thinking. Views and thoughts on many issues will constantly appear at a certain moment. The most direct manifestation of this kind of thinking must be the band's works. There are a lot of places on the new album, and I can imagine that this should be all the true feelings the band felt while on the road of constant touring. As a mature audience, you should have your own standards and distinguish between true and false expressions. It doesn't mean that it sounds good, and it doesn't mean that it has lost its attitude. Living conditions can change, and so must attitudes toward life. The expression triggered by this will also stand in a completely new perspective. For rock musicians, their changes are ultimately expressed through their work. No matter what, you should still respect the most sincere things from the bottom of your heart, no matter what type or style it is. None of these are important. Through music, what we should master is the method, your own method. You can't expect others to give you an attitude, or your attitude is based on your infatuation with other people's attitudes. Allow changes in other people's lives and respect the way artists choose their music. This is the same as your right to pursue your own lifestyle. Any crude interference or unnecessary accusations, or any behavior based on inertial thinking, can only be attributed to our childhood education that has shaped us into what we are now.
